@lionsJoemma @jennyfootball26 KC Joes is the best BBQ in KC. There are others that are great, but this is the one to go to first.

@BigImpactHumans Multiple in my 5 years at SpaceX. F9 launch and RTLS landing at Vandy, Crew-4, Starlink 4-14 from the roadblock (2 miles away), FH Psyche launch and RTLS landing, bonus Starlink, and Starship Flight 6 from a boat. 2 shuttle launches as well.

@mcrs987 Definitely the best-looking versions of Starship and Super Heavy… everything is coming together to make this an operational launch vehicle sometime in 2026.

@keithpringle211 I never got mine. Had to buy a knockoff on Etsy, but I did put in my 5 years (then moved on for multiple reasons).

@ClassicII_MrMac It's directly applicable to my content caching project, which I'm presenting about at @macadminsconf and (hopefully) JNUC 2026.

@hammen GREAT question! Hope you are doing well Robert 👋

@ABaby183 Sounds like my life in SoCal. The Citizen app was my friend.

@QEDvinci @muskonomy Factories + hurricanes and high water levels = not ideal for production.
English

@hammen @muskonomy if they are planning 10k launches per year (say in 10 yrs ), it would make sense for them to build factories there ,the land is huge ,you can fit everything .

NEWS: Reports suggest SpaceX may be planning a massive 136,000-acre campus in Louisiana, potentially the biggest land deal yet for the company.
The rumored site near Pecan Island and Freshwater City in Vermilion Parish would cover roughly 212 square miles, dwarfing SpaceX's current Starbase facility in Texas.
Local real estate insider Jim Keaty of Keaty Real Estate has been digging into the rumor after dozens of clients started asking about it.
No official documents have surfaced yet, but a few sources are quietly confirming the deal.
A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries employee reportedly said Governor Jeff Landry visited the site during Easter week.
Earlier reports pointed to a smaller 30,000-acre purchase near Freshwater City for a potential spaceport. The location offers remoteness, barge access for moving rockets and proximity to rocket fuel resources.
It also lines up with the aerospace incentive bills currently moving through the Louisiana legislature, which target companies investing $1 billion or more.
Louisiana already has a strong aerospace base with NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, an 829-acre complex employing roughly 3,000 people that has built rockets for over 60 years.
If confirmed, this could become one of the largest private land purchases in Louisiana history and a major expansion for the SpaceX-xAI combined company, which is also gearing up for what could be the largest IPO ever in mid-2026.

@EzekielOverstr1 MacBook Air 13 or 15”, or even a Neo might work. Windows 11 is not very good.

@yoopgirl13 I was a bit on the struggle bus during this trip to Germany, since the last time I was there it was with my mom, dad, and sister. All 3 now gone (sister passed early on 04/15).

It comes out of nowhere. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve reached for my phone to call or text my parents about something out of habit and realizing once again that they are gone 💔

Not really sure why I'm even saying this, but lost my mum just over 6 months ago now. Handled it okay. On a rooftop bar in Portugal last week, on a golfing trip with the lads, I absolutely lost it because it's the sort of time I'd have sent her a photo. Grief, bloody hell.

@narchy4all Nah, he’ll get an extension too. That’s why Golden and Williams were drafted last year, and why Wicks was traded and they let Doubs walk.

@DJSnM Korolev’s death also was one of the points where the Soviets fell behind. N1 would have been different and had a greater chance of success.

April 24th is the anniversary of Vladimir Komarov's death on Soyuz 1, the first person to die during a space mission. And Soyuz 1 in my mind also represents the moment when the Soviet Union clearly fell behind in the space race. Trying to catch up to Gemini's rendezvous and docking capabilities, which had been demonstrated 2 years previously. The Soyuz 1 mission was launched before critical problems with the spacecraft had been addressed and it was a disaster that set the program back for years.

@ABaby183 Did you watch Star Trek Discovery? The use of the mycelial network was… interesting.
English

@ajmorano @packers @Pyropatti @LambeauField I didn’t catch that. You may be right on the one final joke.
English

@hammen @packers @Pyropatti @LambeauField A big Packer fan and her sense of humor. I think Patti gave us one more joke and a sign of love. She passed on 4-15-26. The numbers of Favre, Starr and Rodgers. (2X6=12). For Patti, "GO PACK GO!". Sending my love to the entire Hammen family!

The @packers lost one of their biggest fans (and former employees) today, my sister Patti @Pyropatti. For 17 years, until she suffered health problems, she entertained people with her sense of humor as a @LambeauField Tour Guide. The world is a darker place without her in it.
