Each mode tests a different layer of your build, your mechanics, and your decision-making and if you want to improve, you don’t just play but you also understand what each mode is teaching you. 🌍 World Exploration This is the core PvE mode where your journey begins. You explore procedurally generated dungeons across regions like Dopamis → Zendor, fighting enemies, defeating bosses, and unlocking more of Sipheria. This is where you learn the game from combat fundamentals to how your vessel and build actually function in real fights. Everything you do here feeds progression into every other mode. What it teaches you: • Enemy patterns & mechanics • Boss phases and attack tells • How your vessel actually plays • Gear effectiveness & synergy What you earn: • XP for leveling & ascension • Gear, parts, software, bytes • Materials that increase your PowerScore Skip mastering this, and every other mode becomes harder than it should be. ♾️ Endless Anarchy The survival grinder. Understanding how to modify it is key to improving your runs. 🔧 How to Modify Gear Every gear piece comes with slots you can customize: • Parts (⚙️) → add stats like damage, crit, reload speed, HP, defense • Software (💾) → add augments (special effects like explosions, elemental damage, utility triggers) • Base Augments (✨) → built-in effects that give gear its identity To modify gear: Open the crafting/modification menu Select a gear piece Install Parts for stats Install Software for effects Once installed, stat rolls are locked in, so every choice matters. 🧩 What You Need Gear modification isn’t free it requires resources earned from runs: • Power Cores → main crafting resource • Bytes → currency for upgrades • Materials → used for replacing Parts/Software and upgrading gear ⚠️ Replacing a component destroys the old one, so upgrades come with real trade-offs ⬆️ Advanced Modification (Ascension) You can further upgrade gear through Ascension: • Increases overall stats • Costs more resources each level • Success rate decreases over time • Failure doesn’t destroy the gear This is how you scale into stronger builds over time.
