Enable schools to do the right thing and don't penalise them with performance tables and accountability that punishes them for doing so. The ways are often clear, but the consequences for doing so significant. Doing the right thing isn't rewarded in education currently.

When they develop the standard can we also develop a funding model that enables schools to meet the needs of it's learners and workforce . If not it just becomes yet another stick to beat schools with for something they aren't meeting.
