suddenly, Joe Kent is in the Washington Post. Wonder how that happened?

Trump: I have much more power in my second term. I said I'm going to sign an executive order to ensure that the second Saturday in December, is preserved exclusively, nobody is playing football. Not Ohio state against Notre Dame. Not LSU against Alabama. Nobody is going to play football for four hours during that very special time of the year in December. It's preserved forever for the army-navy game. If you don't want to watch football, you don't have to. But if you want to watch football, you are only watching one game. You are not watching 19 different games.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

Democrats demanded we withdraw. We were never defeated.

Today’s media cheer against the US, overstate enemy abilities, understate ours and paint a picture that the US is losing, while we’re winning. It’s more true today as they cheer against Trump in Iran. Within 10 days weeks of this 2001 NYT doozy saying our military efforts in Afghanistan were bogged down, the key city of Mazar e Sharif fell to the US and our ally the Northern Alliance, and Kabul fell days later. This story was written a mere three weeks after our counter-offensive against Al Qaeda began. But that didn’t stop the NYT from saying we were already in a quagmire. The media are doing the same thing today in Iran. From a military point of view, Operation Epic Fury has been a huge success. We don’t know yet about who will run Iran, but the press will always see America’s cup as 1/10th empty. If today’s press covered WW II, they would have written mostly about civilian casualties, friendly fire, and failed missions, downplaying the overwhelming allied victories against the Nazis.

Hegseth opens DOD briefing criticizing media coverage of the Iran war. “The sooner David Ellison takes over that network, the better,” Hegseth says of CNN. Mentioned "the tragic crash" of the KC-135 aerial refueler that killed four service members at the end of his remarks.

NEWS via @CBSNews: An Iranian drone attack in Kuwait that killed U.S. service members in the early hours of the war with Iran was more severe than previously known, with dozens suffering injuries that included brain trauma, shrapnel trauma and burns, per sources. More than 30 remained in hospitals yday with battle injuries — one at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, 12 at Walter Reed, and about 25 at Landstuhl in Germany, sources said. Of those, about 20 arrived on a C-17 military transport aircraft at Landstuhl on Tuesday with injuries the military designated as “urgent” and requiring evacuation. More than 100 medical personnel were sent to Landstuhl to assist. Report here from @ellee_watson @JimLaPorta and me. cbsnews.com/news/strike-in…

Touchdown

This “reporting” from CBS is not true. A Tactical Operations Center is not a “makeshift office space.” The secure facility was fortified with 6-foot walls. Here are the facts: 1. We have the most extensive Air Defense umbrella in the world over the Middle East right now and control of the skies is increasing with every wave of airpower. The Iranian Navy has been devastated, and our military is dominating. 2. Every possible measure has been taken to safeguard our troops — at every level. The Department is prepared for this engagement and has hardened our defenses. We’ve moved a significant number of our troops off the X and will always protect our bases and people from a significantly weakened Iran. We will continue fighting in a way that honors our six fallen: no apologies, no hesitation. Epic fury for them and for every American lost at the hands of Iranian radicals.

The "forever wars" Dem talking point is just so busted. Iran has been at war with the United States ever since I've been alive. I've had friends who are service members who survived Iranian IED attacks in Iraq. The "forever wars" talking point works on 25 something year old Democrat staffers but not on anyone else who has a lived history with that shithole regime.
