@TreyYingst My wife and her family emigrated to the US in the 70's due to the Lebanese Civil War. Secretary Rubio's comments align with how we feel. We hope the US will invest in Lebanon. I was there for a week in 2022 for a wedding and Lebanon has so much potential.

Secretary Rubio explained the Lebanese armed forces may have a willingness to address threats from Hezbollah, but they lack full capability. Rubio also discussed the buffer zone in southern Lebanon.
