Great weekend for Alina Orchestra, working with 8 talented 'emerging conductors': one from Brazil via Paris, one from Dublin, one from Australia via London and 5 from all over the UK. Each showed real promise; perhaps more importantly they all manifestly improved over the w/end.

Still buzzing from the Alina Choir 'Celestial Sounds' concert in the beautiful surroundings of Little St Mary's in Cambridge last Sunday. An intense weekend of preparation, but the performance of the Schütz Musikalische Exequien was gripping - what a piece!
