The window is now shut and the only way is up from here. Let’s stop slagging off individuals, the manager, the recruitment. Nothing we can do now till end of the season apart from get behind the team and try to enjoy the championship while we’re here. Questions can wait #oufc

Elon Musk is the one guy we know for an absolute fact DID NOT join Epstein's club So why is the BBC using his picture to suggest he was Because they are shameless propagandists who are part of a co-ordinated attack to convince people that the Government should ban X

The thing is, we’ll win on Saturday and everyone will think we’re the dog’s balls again. #oufc

@TownsendJon80 This is the binary issue of the Oxford fan. Win = great, lose = bad. Anyone who expected us to be higher last summer, especially after the pre-season we had is in cloud cuckoo land.

After the Leicester win I thought we might have a chance but after Saturday and tonight I don’t think we have a chance staying in this league. I hope I’m proven wrong. #oufc

Parents aren’t “put out of pocket” by feeding their kids. It’s literally one of the most basic duties of being a parent. If you can’t afford a bottle of milk and a box of cereal, you aren’t fit to have kids.

@Studdy16 Most of them are trying their best, truth is they ain’t championship players and they’re playing against better teams every week. For us to survive at this level right now we need to bore the hell out of a game. And when we did that chanted for the manager’s head and got our way

@Junior02334 So who do you suggest we sign? Cumming has saved us so many points in this league. Sure he’s going to make the odd error, if he didn’t he wouldn’t be playing for us.

@Hraarmstrong You rate him I assume. He’s cost us quite a few goals this season by not commanding his area on set plays. Sets the defence on the back foot and mean we are to deep on set plays.

Of all the signings we’ve made, I’d have loved us to get in a better, more commanding keeper. Cumming’s levels have dropped off massively. #oufc

@jasonpriestOUFC Christ, a sensible take 💯 Did anyone expect any less from the championship? We didn’t exactly set League One alight at any point.

The more I watch us the more I realise this will be a league one side next season, and if I’m honest I accept that that’s what it is. It’s not that we play that bad it’s just every team we play against is better! With games running out I’ve got to feel sorry for Bloomfield #oufc

Came back on here for deadline day. Refreshing to see it hasn’t changed one bit. Concede a goal away in the championship and it’s “release him”, “release him”, “so lazy by him”. People, we’re Oxford United in the championship with a ground we don’t own. Get real. #oufc

I don’t have children so why should I have to pay for a family on benefits to have 4/5?

Scrapping the two-child benefit cap is a betrayal. Why should hard-working professionals unable to afford kids ourselves be forced to bankroll families choosing to have three or more?

@MichelleDewbs Some people’s circumstances change. Some people work hard to feed their kids. Some people don’t have millionaires to fall back on like you. So spare us the lectures.

Many are furious that I have the audacity to think it is a parents responsibility to feed their children breakfast🤣🤯 That doesn’t surprise me. We have created a culture where people are desperate for the state to assume parenting for them, often because they are too lazy to do it themselves… Many folk insist the scheme is essential so parents can go to work. In that case, why stop at breakfast, most parents don’t finish work circa 3pm, so why not tea too? Some parents work night shifts so hey, why not let kids sleep there also? 🤯 Btw - I remember this video from the dept. of education. All the parents wanted these clubs so they could; do housework, sleep, chill, have coffee with other mums, or be sure their kids have eaten - because apparently it’s really tricky to remember whether your child has eaten 30mins ago. Not a single one mentioned going to work🤷‍♀️ x.com/educationgovuk…

I too grew up in a working class family. I was one of 6 & we often struggled to have enough food go around. My parents never saw it as the schools job to give me breakfast tho. These days, there are food banks & charities popping up left right & centre and a welfare system bigger than grannies bloomers… If parents genuinely aren’t feeding their kids breakfast, they should be looked into. But no, instead it’s yet another parental responsibility that will be handed over to the state as we high-five ourselves and pretend it’s “free”. Sometimes I despair. And no, before some of you ask; I don’t think kids should starve… I simply think parents should be responsible for their own children. Old fashioned, I know 🤯
