Watching the @HyperliquidX CoreWriter usage evolve over its first 10 months has been one of the more interesting datasets in the ecosystem. In the early months it was mostly staking with around 800 actions/day. That's shifted dramatically. The last quarter has averaged 4–5k actions/day, and the composition is almost unrecognizable: sendAsset now dominates, driven overwhelmingly by the USDCCoreDeposit wallet moving USDC from HyperEVM down to HyperCore. Since launch, sendAsset alone is just under 40% of all CoreWriter activity. Together with spotSend, transfers account for ~60%, strong evidence that HyperEVM's current role is functioning as a tokenization layer for HyperCore. Who would have thought @circle would end up being the largest user of the CoreWriter. The interesting watch now is limitOrders from HyperEVM, sitting in third. It's only recently started to ramp, but that's where some really unique possibilities could start to appear. It was always going to take builders time to internalize what the primitive enables and the shift away from transfers being the primary use case is finally starting to show up in the data.
