A total of 25 district collectors have been changed, along with significant restructuring in the Chief Minister’s Office ⚖️ Among the most discussed changes, Tina Dabi has been moved from Barmer to Tonk, while Chinmaya Gopal takes charge in Barmer. #IndiasFirst 🏔️ For Ravindra Kumar, public service was never limited to office files and administration. He created history by becoming the first and only IAS officer to summit Mount Everest from both Nepal’s South Route and China’s North Route - a rare feat of endurance, discipline, and purpose. 🇮🇳 Born into a farmer’s family in Begusarai, his early education began at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya before moving to Ranchi for further studies. Though he cleared IIT entrance in 1999, he chose the sea instead, joining Training Ship Chanakya to study nautical science. 🌍 By 2002, he was sailing globally with international shipping companies, rising to chief officer and travelling across continents. But he chose another challenge - civil services. Leaving the Merchant Navy in 2009, he joined IAS in 2011, first serving in Sikkim and later in Uttar Pradesh in key administrative roles. ⛰️ Inspired by the 2011 Sikkim earthquake, he trained at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute to support disaster response. In 2015, despite earthquake devastation at Everest Base Camp, he carried the Swachh Bharat Mission flag to the summit.
