One example is improving OCR and keyword searches because we have a lot of older “scanned in” assets that require protracted searches.
Could also improve the loops people can end up in when going link to link.
SEO with web services can help but search algos are pay to play.

Using “googleable” is a bit overzealous. The online search functions in government digital assets are still poor. Mind you, they are a lot better than say 10 years ago. But poor UI design and search functionality still plagues.
It’s not THAT easy to find things at times.

Timing is important. Some things could have been announced beforehand. I agree wholeheartedly with that. But, maybe there needs to be wider discourse on the availability of information publicly bevause legit…..98% of the things people make noise about is “Googleable”. 😂

🔴 La Organización Mundial de la Salud calificó el brote de ébola en la República Democrática del Congo y Uganda como una situación extraordinaria y peligrosa. Esto representa un riesgo para otros Estados, según su comunicado.
🔴 El Centro Africano para el Control y la Prevención de Enfermedades confirmó 13 casos de la enfermedad en la RDC, con cuatro víctimas fatales. Además, se investigan 246 casos sin confirmar y 65 posibles muertes.
🔴 Las autoridades de Uganda, por su parte, anunciaron el estado de alerta el viernes 15 ante la propagación de la enfermedad. La tasa de letalidad del ébola se sitúa entre el 55 y el 60%.
