Robbins Cup Championship Forex Division 2024 - Week 43 Being the last weekend of October, I figured I'd do one more update before the new month. Finished the week off with standings at 349.2%. Total profit gained for October so far at $1,856.00 (9%). However we still have 4 more trading days this month and with the way markets closed yesterday, there still may be lots more profit to be taken before the new month. Profit factor also up a little more to 14,433. Total profit gained on account so far at $21,071.00. Win rate still running at 99.2% with a total of 513 trades closed. 9 trades still open. This month we closed 14 trades in profit and opened 5 new ones. 3 of the new trades were opened this past week. We finished the week off with an unrealized P/L of -$80.00. I love the way the markets closed this week. We opened 2 new trades right at the last hour. I think next week we will see a little bit of drawdown on our standings because I'm almost certain we'll be entering a lot more positions. Lots of setups available for the ones that know what to look for. Take the time this weekend to plan for next week's action.

The number one characteristic every trader must have in this industry to succeed is perseverance. In fact, it's the number one characteristic a person must have to succeed in any sector in life. Perseverance is defined as "persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success." You cannot build this characteristic without pushing through failures. Failure is the fuel for perseverance. It's the test that enables you to reach heights you wouldn't imagine were possible. You will be tested to see how you react to each failure. Your reaction will determine if you gain or lose perseverance. In the beginning of your trials it's normal to feel rage and emotional outbursts to failure. As you grow in perseverance you have to learn to better manage your reactions to build a better you. Your failures are an illusion. Your reaction will determine if it will be beneficial or detrimental to you. The devil loves when you rage at failure. Picture him laughing at you as you rage over the illusion. The more you get angry the harder he laughs and applauds you. His goal is to keep you in the pits of hell with him. “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil”. This verse from the Bible tells us exactly that. It doesn't tell us not to be angry because anger is a natural reaction for all of us. It tells us not to give in to that anger. The devil loves when you give in to anger. Take your failures with grace and keep your emotions in check. Doing so is the only way to elevate to the high heavens in everything you do. You are children of God, not slaves of the devil. How you react to your failures will determine which side you really stand for.
