devnet has expanded with a new feature for circles: nested generation directly within another circle, enabling automatic instance scaling (an example of a convenient implementation is attached to the post) @AppliedLang has been extended with a new public opcode - fhe_div_const(pk, ct, k), the inverse element k^-1 is computed explicitly once, after which the standard ct_scale is used, negative numbers are disallowed due to ambiguity in application semantics, so mathematically -2 can be represented as p-2but the abi must handle this explicitly btw, If you need access or test coins for a separate devnet branch, pls ping us in the dev chat, it is still part of the same network, it’s just that some nodes run two or three separate instances the treechain architecture allows for scaling and deriving networks from one another with full compatibility the main devnet branch is still catching up with updates and may be temporarily unavailable, while the cluster of 6 anchor nodes continues to operate: available RPCs: http://139.59.183.141:18080/rpc http://161.35.117.34:18080/rpc http://157.245.88.82:18080/rpc http://134.209.121.244:18080/rpc http://167.99.230.18:18080/rpc

the devnet cluster has initiated another update prior to the integration of new proof types additionally, a high speed matrix processing mechanism (utilizing HFHE) will be added for inference, running the same aml code locally demonstrates an approx 14-fold speedup compared to existing results * several new hfhe opcodes (octra vm) have also been added (one of which is multi layer division by an arbitrary variable and a constant) an additional test cluster scanner is available at the following address: http://139.59.183.141:18090/index.html

the largest dev net update is currently underway, support for direct GPU computing for resource-sharing circles has been added to nodes as part of the development of on-chain state inference mechanics we plan to complete this tomorrow afternoon (this will deserve a separate article) thanks everyone

Every industry that licenses IP has a playbook. Microchips have one, Phil David helped write it at Arm. Music has one. Pharma has one. Algorithms never did, because they were given away for the entire history of the field. Now they have one: the TIG licensing paper. github.com/tig-foundation…

It’s hard to overstate how important this is, and not just for mathematics: • AI only trained on successful attempts, because failures were not published • A mathematicians intuition (know-how) is built from experiencing many failed attempts • Ability to find new results is massively accelerated by intuition/know-how • AIs have only recently been good enough to tackle frontier problems • Now that AIs are operating reasonably close to frontier level, we will see wide adoption among mathematicians • Using AI for mathematics research, particularly in multi-round exchanges, exposes researcher’s know-how to capture • As AIs try to solve maths problems, they generate huge amounts of data through failed attempts that embodies know-how Given the above, I believe that 1. There will be a drastic improvement in AIs capability in mathematics in the coming months 2. The next generation general AI capability will be driven by new algorithmic methods developed by AI itself 3. By default, these algorithmic methods will be kept closed and that pushes AI closed. Perhaps permanently. There is an alternative x.com/Dr_JohnFletche…

A fascinating insight I gained from @Dr_JohnFletcher is that there is large bias in math training data towards things that work and almost no information on things that don't work, because things that work get published and things that don't get trashed But a human mathematician has, as a result of experience, accumulated a huge body of internal knowledge of things that don't work, together with the reasons why The is probably a huge amount of alpha in gathering large corpora of negative results together with the reasons they don't work, and including those data in the training data That would allow a model working through a math problem to immediately rule out a large number of dead ends instead of having to go down all these failed paths

What's in the licensing document everyone has been waiting for? Its officially out now!! github.com/tig-foundation… It covers the full path from innovation to revenue: how TIG patents its algorithms, the complete license structure from open to commercial, how community enforcement works and what free riders actually risk, and pricing principles for a market that has never existed.

Here we go, seems like people are discovering the potential of this new HFHE variation of FHE. @octra $OCT these are the first signs of adoption. users testing or learing what HFHE is like and how they can evaluate it from many aspects they find important. #HFHE #OCTRA $10

← what you see: a circle what i see: an ephemeral instance with its own code, persistent state, keys, access control, encrypted state and no permanent host a circle is not a vm running on someone’s computer, a circle is *the* computer with a distributed fheOS installed

I've been bullposting and tinkering with Octra for several months now. Decided to participate in the challenge myself and post my findings publicly. Octra is unbreakable. Findings Co-Authored by @Kubo100x Will update as we investigate github.com/smoke-ui/octra…

open HFHE challenge v2 this wallet holds 500,000 OCT: octC5eR9pLGKbpzTbDgHowkFt8HW7LZYb2gzehzxHamxuAZ recover its private key, tell us how you did it and receive another 500,000 OCT, for a total of 1 million. do not submit issues, they will be removed! github.com/octra-labs/hfh…

1/ The @octra FUD blog by @te_mpe_st has gone viral. But they won't tell you: most claims are based on OUTDATED docs and old code commits. Octra has been actively improving. Let me break it down.

Back by popular demand, Phil David will once again be gracing our weekly community call with his presence. This Thursday at 5PM BST, join Phil and @0x_Asuka as they discuss TIG’s plans + any burning questions you might have around licensing. Mark your calendars, we’ll see you soon!
