In a green market, narratives sell. In a red market, infrastructure survives. Most privacy tokens were built for hype cycles mixers, wrappers, and shortcuts that only work when liquidity is flowing and attention is cheap. When markets turn red, those models crack first. Worm is being built for this market. While prices are down and speculation is thin, Worm is focused on something the bear market exposes brutally: you can’t scale value without credible privacy. Built on EIP-7503 (@eip7503), Worm doesn’t rely on obscurity or off-chain tricks. It delivers on-chain proof that value moved, without turning users into public metadata. zk-SNARKs provide privacy; Ethereum provides verification. Why Worm fits a red market: Proof over promises proof of Burn replaces trust narratives with math No liquidity dependency composable ERC-20 design, not a standalone privacy island Builder-led, not hype-led backed by @ethereum contributors and ZK researchers Community-funded ($150K) no pressure to manufacture short-term pumps Early momentum during drawdowns the strongest signal in a down market Red markets kill features. They reward foundations. Worm isn’t trying to attract tourists. It’s being built for the cycle after this one when regulation, institutions, and real users all demand the same thing: verifiable systems that respect privacy. Privacy that only works in bull markets isn’t privacy. It’s a liability. Privacy that works in red markets becomes infrastructure. That’s the bet Worm is making. Links: x.com/eip7503 worm.cx

So why did the worm start a crypto project? To answer a dangerous question: 👉 What if money required provable sacrifice and nothing else?

No mixers. No pooled funds. No trusted intermediaries. Just math, cryptography, and irreversible cost. That’s the WORM experiment.

What if money could be issued without trust, without mixers, and without anyone knowing who paid the cost? That question is where WORM begins 🪱

@iamm_rushh It just might be one of the creative experiments ever to grow from a burn

..... There’s an old myth on the ETH chain. It says some ETH never truly dies when burned but just goes underground. 🪱 And deep beneath the chain, something new begins to grow. It has remained just a myth for a long while now. ....... Now..that myth has a name: WORM @EIP7503. What is, who is, which thing is WORM, you say? WORM is an experiment inspired by EIP-7503, a proposal built around one radical idea: what if burned ETH could one day be reborn? Normally, burning ETH is final. Send it to a dead address and it’s gone forever — no keys, no access, no resurrection. Pure, irreversible destruction. But WORM challenges that finality. It asks a strange question: What if you could prove you buried ETH… and earn something from the ashes? Instead of mining blocks or staking validators, WORM introduces a new mechanic: mining by burning. Every private burn is a seed planted underground. The zero-knowledge proof is the soil — cryptographic evidence that the burn happened, without revealing where, when, or whose ETH it was. And from that soil, something grows - WORM tokens. Think of WORM as a mirror world to Ethereum. On the surface, ETH is transparent, trackable, and public. Underground, WORM is private, untraceable, and reborn. To move between these worlds, you perform a ritual: Burn ETH → Grow WORM → Redeem WORM. In simple terms: EIP-7503 says, “Prove you burned ETH, and you can get it back — privately.” WORM says, “Prove you burned ETH, and earn a new asset born from that privacy.” ETH dies. WORM lives. Will WORM crawl into the light? Or remain hidden in the dark soil of Ethereum lore? No one knows. But it may be one of the most creative experiments ever grown from a burn.
