Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen (Rahimahullah) said: Between a man that prays two Rakaah during the day in Ramadan & one who did the same during the day during the 1st ten days of Dhul Hijjah, who earns more reward? He responded by saying, he who did pray 2 Raka'a during the day in the 1st ten days of Dhul Hijjah undoubtedly earns more reward than he who did during the day in Ramadan (sic: during the day not during the night). This however might sound strange to the common seeker of knowledge, but it is not strange to the people of knowledge, according to Shaykh. He then reminded the scholars to educate people more regarding the immense benefits of these 1st ten days that we are in now. May Allãh SWT accept from us all.
