Balanced Fertilizer Use campaign of ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi MGMG Team comprising Dr Sadhna Pandey, Dr. Sita Ram Kantwa, Dr. Jitendra Suman and Mr. P. C. Gehlot visited Behta and Badhgadh village of Badagaon block of Jhansi District and organized an “Awareness Camp cum Kisan Gosthi” on 18/05/2026 on use of “Balance Fertilizers” to improve the Soil Health. The program was attended by 144 farmers, including 42 women. The team emphasized on regular soil testing and improving the health of soil. Also, emphasized on creating business opportunities in “Balance Ration”, “Silage”, “Goat Farming”, “Nano urea”, “Nano DAP” and “Organic Fertilizer”. The team informed the farmers about the use of biofertilizers, green manure, FYM and other organic inputs for Sustainable Nutrient Management. @icarindia

भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद- भारतीय चरागाह एवं चारा अनुसंधान संस्थान के बीज तकनीकी विभाग में बीज प्रसंस्करण इकाई का उद्घाटन संस्थान निदेशक डॉ॰ पंकज कौशल द्वारा समस्त विभागाध्यक्षों की उपस्थिति के साथ किया गया। इस इकाई की स्थापना कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय के बीज अनुभाग द्वारा वित्तपोषित योजना “एसएमएसपी (बीज और रोपण सामग्री पर उप-मिशन) के तहत क्रियशन ऑफ सीड इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर फैसिलिटी” के अंतर्गत की गई है। इस इकाई का निर्माण विभिन्न चारा फसलों जैसेकि जई, बरसीम, मक्का, ज्वार तथा लोबिया के बीजों के प्रसंस्करण के लिए किया गया है। उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम के दौरान, इकाई की बीज गुणवत्ता सुधारने की भूमिका पर चर्चा की गई। डॉ॰ अवनीन्द्र सिंह (विभागाध्यक्ष, बीज तकनीकी विभाग) ने बताया कि यह इकाई चारे के बीजों में गुणवत्ता संवर्धन तथा प्रसंस्करण क्षमता में बड़ोत्तरी करेगी तथा इससे किसानों तक उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले बीजो को पहुंचाने में सहायता मिलेगी। @icarindia

"उत्तर प्रदेश में ‘चारा विकास’ हेतु मास्टर ट्रेनर्स एवं चारा उत्पादकों का प्रशिक्षण आयोजित" उत्तर प्रदेश में हरे चारे की कमी के मद्देनजर प्रदेश के पशुपालन विभाग के तत्वावधान में भा.कृ.अनु.प.- भारतीय चरागाह एवं चारा अनुसंधान संस्थान, झाँसी द्वारा प्रदेश के विभिन्न जिलों में ‘चारा विकास’ हेतु मास्टर ट्रेनर्स का प्रशिक्षण 27 अप्रैल से 14 मई, 2026 तक आयोजित किया गया जिसमे प्रदेश के समस्त 75 जिलों के पशुपालन एवं कृषि विभाग से कुल 125 मास्टर ट्रेनर्स को प्रशिक्षित किया गया। कार्यक्रम दो-दिवसीय कुल 6 बैच में सम्पन्न कराया गया । इस प्रशिक्षण में मास्टर ट्रेनर्स को चारा विकास के निम्न पहलुओं पर जानकारी दी गयी तथा प्रक्षेत्र भ्रमण भी कराया गया: •उत्तर प्रदेश में पशुधन एवं चारा उपलब्धता का परिदृश्य तथा क्षेत्रवार चारा विकास योजना •विभिन्न जलवायु क्षेत्रों के लिए उपयुक्त चारा उत्पादन तकनीकियाँ एवं वर्ष पर्यंत चारा उत्पादन प्रणाली •बारानी, गोचर भूमियों एवं गौशालाओं हेतु चरागाह, वन-चरागाह एवं उद्यान चरागाह प्रणाली •समस्याग्रस्त दशाओं तथा गैर-परंपरागत स्रोतों से चारा उत्पादन तकनीकियाँ •पशुधन आहार प्रबंधन एवं चारा संरक्षण की विधियाँ प्रतिभागियों ने उन्नत चारा तकनीकियों की जानकारी के साथ-साथ तकनीकियों के प्रसार हेतु विशेषज्ञों से विचार-मंथन भी किया। कार्यक्रम से प्रशिक्षित मास्टर ट्रेनर्स को प्रशिक्षण उपरान्त अपने जनपदों के पशुपालक किसान, कृषि उद्यमी एवं गौशाला संचालकों को प्रशिक्षित कर उनका क्षमता विकास करने हेतु कार्ययोजना भी बताई गयी । मास्टर ट्रेनर्स प्रशिक्षण के अलावा प्रदेश के ‘चारा उत्पादक किसानों एवं गौशाला संचालकों’ हेतु आयोजित किये जा रहे ‘एकदिवसीय’ भ्रमण एवं प्रशिक्षण’ कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत अब तक 7 जनपदों के कुल 106 चारा उत्पादकों एवं गौशाला संचालकों को ‘चारा उत्पादन, संरक्षण एवं उपयोग’ के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर प्रशिक्षित किया गया । इस कार्यक्रम से कुल 1125 चारा उत्पादक किसानों को प्रशिक्षित करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है । ‘चारा विकास’ के लक्ष्य से आयोजित उक्त ‘प्रशिक्षण एवं भ्रमण कार्यक्रम’ से चारा तकनीकियों का प्रदेशव्यापी प्रभावी प्रसार होगा जिससे हरे चारे का उत्पादन बढेगा जोकि पशुधन उत्पादकता एवं कृषक आजीविका के लिए हितकर होगा। @AgriGoI @icarindia @mygovindia @upagriculture @UPCMOffice @myogiadityanath @DOAHUP @ChouhanShivraj

“Balanced Fertilizers Use” Campaign of ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi “Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav (MGMG)” programme teams visited Palinda and Pali villages of Jhansi district on 14-05-2026. The team comprised Dr. V. K. Yadav (Nodal Officer), Dr. Tejveer Singh, Dr. Sunilkumar V P, and Mr. H. K. Agarwal. During the visit, two “Awareness Camp cum Kisan Gosthi” programmes were organized on the theme “Sustainable Nutrient Management and Soil Health Improvement.” Around 45 farmers participated in the programme. Representatives from IFFCO and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Barari also participated and interacted with farmers. Scientists emphasized the importance of soil testing before fertilizer application. Farmers were informed that Soil Health Cards help identify nutrient deficiencies in the soil, enabling balanced fertilizer use, reducing cultivation cost, and improving crop yield. The farmers were also sensitized about the importance of maintaining soil organic matter through the use of FYM, compost, vermicompost, green manuring, and crop residue management. These practices help improve soil structure, water-holding capacity, and long-term soil fertility. The team highlighted the concept of Integrated Nutrient Management (INM), which promotes the balanced use of organic manures, chemical fertilizers, and biofertilizers for sustainable agriculture. Farmers were encouraged to adopt eco-friendly nutrient management practices for maintaining soil health and ensuring sustainable crop production. In addition, information related to animal health, disease management, and animal nutrition was also shared with the farmers for improving livestock productivity and overall farm sustainability. The programme concluded with distribution of multi-cut bajra seeds and awareness messages such as Healthy Soil, Healthy Crop, Healthy Farmer”. @icarindia

The program was attended by 74 farmers including 10 women farmers. The attending farmers were sensitized to the use of balanced fertilizers and informed about soil health, use of biofertilisers and use of organic manure/ green manure based nutrient management to manage plant nutrition in an eco-friendly manner. Balanced Fertilizer Use campaign of ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi MGMG team comprising members Dr R. V. Kumar, Dr. Abhijit Ghosh, Dr. Arvind T and Mr. Dushyant Kumar Niranjan visited Jara village of Konch, Jalaun and organized an “Awareness Camp cum Kisan Gosthi” on "Balanced Use of Fertilizers" to sustain the Soil Health and Crop Productivity. The program was attended by 42 farmers. The team emphasized on integrated nutrient management involving organic fertilizers such as FYM, Vermi compost, Biofertilizers and Green Manuring to reduce the dependency on chemical fertilizers. The team also suggested to use fertilizers as per the soil test and crop's needs. @icarindia
