@raissawriter This is too purist in my opinion. I do believe that he wants to be in the status quo, to not only redeem his family's name, but to really somehow prove himself that he has a thing to do as a President. Even if it is inadequate.

Believe me, he's only doing this to make you and others like him. If he really cared, he would return the wealth his parents stole and there would be more money - not just for free rides - but for low- cosy housing and quality education for the poor. You're getting peanuts!

I honestly appreciate what Marcos admin is doing. Things like this may seem small to others, but for many ordinary Filipinos, a 50% discount for students, seniors and PWDs, plus a 1+3 family promo on train rides, is a big help. For families trying to make ends meet, this matters. For students commuting daily, this matters. For seniors and PWDs, this is respect and care in action. This is what real public service looks like.
