Mrs. Arnold’s class had a fantastic Shine Week filled with learning, teamwork, and fun! From building and problem-solving to reading and writing, students showed curiosity, kindness, and leadership every day. So many smiles, so much growth, these first graders truly shine!

Mr. Campbell’s class had a great Shine Week! They learned Spanish with Señor Garcia, built structures to practice collaboration, and showed leadership in the hallway. They also enjoyed connecting with friends at lunch and worked on writing “how-to” books. ✨ #IHPromise

Shine Week in Mrs. Hardesty’s class! ✨ Students built leadership through positive affirmations and filling others’ emotional banks, explored fairy tales, and are excited to write their own. They ended the week by leading the Brave Rave! #IHPromise

Shine Week in Ms. Casto’s kindergarten class! ✨ Students explored teen numbers, visited Green Acres to learn about farm jobs, practiced snap words during Family Feud Friday, and ended the week with a karaoke dance party! #IHPromise

Collaboration and learning from each other are at the heart of Mrs. Wellage’s IH Rockstars community. Students are practicing how to listen, talk together, make plans, and ask thoughtful questions, building strong learners and teammates every day. #IHPromise

District-Wide K–12 STEM Night! Our incredible community learned side by side through hands-on activities that sparked creativity and problem-solving. Using the design thinking process, students imagined, created, and improved, all while having tons of fun! #IHPromise

Mrs. Miller’s 1st graders truly shined this week! They strengthened their phonics and writing through creative Lift the Flap books and Valentines, all while filling each other’s Emotional Bank Accounts with kind, thoughtful words. So much learning and joy in one classroom! 🌟

1st graders hit the “Winter Olympics” this week thanks to our incredible PE teacher, Mrs. Sweeney! From paper plate speed skating ⛸️ to ski jumps 🎿, curling 🥌, bobsled 🛷, and moguls students were fully engaged, active, and having a blast! Thank you, Mrs. Sweeney! #IHPromise

At our recent Primary School BraveRave, the Indian Hill Girls Varsity Basketball Team joined us to share what leadership means to them. From teamwork to perseverance, our students were inspired by these incredible role models! #IHPromise

✨ SHINE Week in Mrs. Phelps’ First Grade! ✨ We worked with our thinking partners to solve three-digit addition story problems, showing our work on thinking boards. We made New Year’s resolutions and read about the upcoming Olympics, sharing which event we’d love to compete in!
