L.A. has been through a tough time because of the fires, but in the immortal words of @bertsesame, @Grover and @oscarthegrouch: we can get through this together. The @sesamestreet family stopped by The Times to chat with @nickducassi about “big feelings” and the latest season!
the muppets are meant to be an omnipresent part of pop culture. they are celebrities, not characters. miss piggy should have a late night show. kermit should host the oscars. gonzo should be on tiktok. why is this so hard to understand
@six_ace_deuce@Palown_@90sManiax In the swamp, we only got The Disney Afternoon for an hour. I seem to recall The Adventures of the Gummi Bears and DuckTales launching things, but there may also have been a run of The Wuzzles in that programming block at some point as well. 🐸
@Palown_@90sManiax Gargoyles premiered in 1994, Disney Afternoon started in 1990.
It’s possible the lineup could have been different in other markets, but the pattern I remember was older shows went first, as new shows premiered, old shows went earlier bumping off the 1st.
