INARA’s response to the medical needs of Gazans stranded in Egypt started early on during the crisis, with critical surgeries and treatments needed. INARA’s qualified staff and medical teams have provided more than 11,600 medical services and 650 surgical interventions.

As part of our global mental health programs, INARA’s MHPSS interventions in Gaza include art therapy, guided play, and group sessions, where children develop healthy coping skills while caregivers gain the tools to support both short- and long-term emotional recovery.

In Egypt, INARA has been pioneering a new approach by integrating cognitive cinema activities into our mental health and psychosocial support interventions. Through carefully selected films, children learn to understand their own feelings and express them in a safe way.

Recently forced to return from Iran and Pakistan, many Afghans now live in overcrowded, unsafe shelters, struggling to keep their children warm. With OMID, INARA provided winter kits with coats, shoes, socks, and blankets. More: inara.org/afghanistan
