Everyone's talking about Spotify's disco ball logo. 🪩 We thought agar logo disco ho sakta hai, toh payments kyun nahi shine karein? Receive international payments at just 0.5%. No markups. Live FX rates. Free FIRA.

Nobody talks about this but, The average Indian freelancer loses ₹50,000-₹1,00,000 a year to FX fees and bank markups. Not in one big transaction, quietly. Across small payments. That's a vacation, a MacBook, a month's salary.

Started using @skydo_official and things were quite good initially. But now the manager assigned to me doesn’t pick calls, one person hung up mid-call, and funniest part I got an email that my payment arrived, but none of the agents even knew ,had to send them a screenshot myself

tbh Indian banks are the worst for receiving USD/EUR payments - and we want India to become a global tech hub LOL once my $14,000 worth of inward remittances were 'frozen' by Axis Bank because of unknown reasons i was not assigned any RM (relationship manager) i went to the branch and they told me 'someone' would call me nothing for the next 3-4 days - then i get a call from branch manager that my 'kyc' is pending i was furious - how was i able to operate my account for so many months then? the supposed 'kyc' process was: physical photo of me at the office location, and i was not in town i had to come back to town for this stupid thing and then nothing for another 8 days - i had to write multiple emails threatening them to report to RBI for freezing my money and would file a court case the next day after this email everything is resolved >now I am at Yes Bank - still things are the same my eefc account was opened few months ago i cannot transact online because of some stupid mapping process not completed reported this issue last friday still not resolved Indian Banking system is the worst - and we want it to become a global tech hub LOL

If you're receiving money as a freelancer or agency owner or any service based businesses in India, you should be using @Infinityapp_in This is why I genuinely love it. Lets break down this $1400 of inbound payment. > If received via Paypal, I would have lost at least $120 (11300 inr) in fees and conversion. > If received via Wise, again $14-20 (1500 inr) in fees, and client needs to be on Wise. > If received via Dodopay, around $80 (7500 inr) goes to fees, also client needs to pay extra in VAT. ✅ Received via InfinityApp, can't believe that I paid only 659 inr in fees. Insane. Unreal.

@rudranshstwt Hi Rudraksh, the ticks are actually explicitly indicating the compliance status on mobile as well, so the design is working as intended. Maybe it was miss for you, will still forward this feedback and get it checked.

Hi @Infinityapp_in , I found this page a bit misleading. On phone it looks as if the green/yellow ticks are just decoration and you guys are compliant. On desktop it looks fine but still should indicate explicitly imo. I have signed up and am underway KYC. but please improve this design. Please correct me if I missed the indication, that's my bad. Thank you guys.

NEED HELP: I'm looking for a way to receive payments in USD (USD->INR) for an upcoming job. So far I've explored Wise, Payoneer, Xflow, Razorpay Moneysaver(?), bank transfers, Skydo, Paypal etc. I want something that doesn't have hidden or absurd charges. My needs are < 1000 USD but is expected to grow. What I could find: - Wise: about 1.6-1.8% per transaction (+GST); 2.5 USD for eFIRC/FIRA + GST - Xflow: Flat 12 USD (+GST) on payments below 2k USD; Backed by Stripe; provides a local bank account; free FIRA - Payoneer: It's unclear from their website but I expect around 5% fees in total; 30 USD fees for inactive accounts (if <6k USD annually) - Skydo: $19 Flat on payments below 2k USD; free FIRA - Razorpay(Money Saver Export Account): 1% fees (+GST); free FIRA; website mentions no other hidden charges - Paypal: Unclear, didn't search much. People suggest 10-12% charges. - Bank (SWIFT): ~$30 + ~2% markup. There is this breakdown I found on a blog post by Skydo. (See image) --- To me, Razorpay sounds like the best option (fees, reputation) but I'm still not sure as I've never used any of the services I mentioned above. This is all just information I could find on the internet. Paypal sounds like the worst of them all. --- Note: GST is charged on fees not transaction amt. Would love to hear what experienced folks have to say/suggest.

@amritwt Don't open Skydo, if you wanna be smart with FX rates then open EEFC account with your bank, it gives a 1 month conversion window while skydo and other fintech convert immediately.
