Nutrition and diets (long tweet, adapted article from my website) Once again a subject on which many people have strong opinions, which is fine, but i will try to take a balanced and deeper view as always. Usual disclaimers apply: open to all new info, i could be totally wrong, always willing to share and learn new things, think for yourself. Nutrition has always been a popular topic for people seeking to improve their health and physical/mental state. The possibilities in different diets are endless: raw, vegetarian, vegan, carnivore, paleo, ketogenic, pescatarian, slow food, fast food, macrobiotic, cosmic nutrition, intermittent fasting etc etc, we could go on like that for and entire page. Summing up the advantages or disadvantages of a certain diet, or different diets, is an impossible task. Why? The amount of variables involved is simply too great. Humans have adapted to many different habits, and hence have adapted to many different food sources in their environment. An eskimo can live on an almost only fat diet, while someone living in the jungle can live on a diet made of plants, and some tribes in Africa mainly live on meat, blood and milk. Vice versa, an eskimo on an only plant diet would probably die, and someone adapted to living in the jungle on an only fat diet would probably die quickly as well. In short, slight variations in genetics play a big role. Next to that, each person also has a different body type, like shown in Ayurveda for example, or certain energetic qualities described in Chinese Medicine. Someone who has a very ´hot´ constitution energy wise, does not benefit from eating very spicy food for example, while someone who has a weak liver for example should be careful eating too much fat, and an exclusive vegan diet is not ideal for someone who is slow and cold a lot. As usual, energetics are often overlooked once discussing nutrition, but are absolutely crucial. Through personal experimentation over the years with many different diets, protocols, (intermittent) fasting etc, and by recently spending a couple of weeks diving into the latest trends in nutrition, I observed once again the same pattern as discussed in many previous articles: over-identification with a limited sense of self. What does this mean? People change their diet, or try out something new, and this can be advantageous to their health. Great......experimentation, trying new things, challenging oneself, is the only way to learn. However, many people than become ´identified´ with this diet, meaning it becomes part of their ´i-identity´, their ego, and often (not always) start seeing this diet as part of their personality. As a result, different diets are judged, ridiculed or not taken seriously, and the people that follow them verbally attacked. Now obviously there are some common factors which are present in all so called healthy/natural diets: not eating lots of sugar, not eating many toxin/processed foods, moderation, natural plants & protein & fat, etc. But even that does not have to apply to everybody. My grandmother and great-grandmother loved sugar and candy, and ate a lot of it, and reached the age of 98 and 101 while rarely falling ill in their lives. They probably never entered into ketosis (claimed to promote longevity) in their lives, or fasted, and just ate whatever they liked. As said before, the number of factors involved is so large, that it is impossible to make generalisations. I do like to add, that i have received many people on my mountain, who were severely energetically depleted due to vegan diets. It is the reason so many inner masters worn about this diet, since low calorie, low energy, exclusive plant-based diets, often creates too much stagnated cold energy in the body, something which is overlooked a lot in the debate about nutrition these days. Somehow it is a hype and trendy nowadays to be against meat and fat, to save the planet, but the damage this does to human health overall is enormous. I would strongly recommend to read this article: britishacupuncturefederation.co.uk/2022/11/10/veg… If i would personally avoid one diet at all cost, it would be the vegan diet, the damage i ve seen in people on the energetic part is enormous really (white, pale, digestive issues, cold etc), at least some animal protein is needed imo (and i don´t mean factory farming of course, respectful animal husbandry can be done, i do it too). Most people that come visit here, recover fast on a protein/fat/forest garden diet. Only really advanced inner masters that can generate enormous inner yang power can really survive well on only plant-food withouth energetic side-effects, but these are very few of these people. What about all the other factors involved when eating? Chewing well vs not chewing well, portion size, timing of meals, toxins and plastic in packaging, quality of produce, organic vs non-organic, hybridised vs non-hybrided, heated vs not-heated, drinking with food vs not drinking with food, cooked in certain way or not.......one could go on for 100 pages. The claim by some spiritual traditions that the physical body (and food) is not important, is of course understandable if one´s aim is transcendence, but in general, denying one has a body is just as strange as saying that one is only the body (both the result of over-identification with a certain belief system again). After trying out many different diets, and talking to many people on different diets, and having a good overview more or less what is out there, i observed one aspect is rarely discussed: what about simply sitting down, being calm and silent, and really feeling the body, the physical side and the energy on the inside. Once one amplifies the awareness of the body, and the real hunger signals it gives, one can feel on an intuitive level what the body is craving for. If thirsty, water. If you only eat fruit, after a while you want some meat or fish or protein. Becoming sensitive like this, letting go of control, and really listening to the body creates a way of eating which is relaxed, calm and not dogmatic. If you ate too much somehow, you naturally fast. If you feel sick, the body naturally wants to fast too. If you are out walking with your daughter and you feel like eating a nice chocolate ice-cream, you share the joy of eating it without feeling guilty. If you feel cold and depleted, you eat some good quality meat and fat. Nobody who really becomes sensitive and listens to the body would stuff themselves with toxic food or huge meal portions. A balanced diet would come naturally if one really listens to the body, no matter what that diet might be (on the condition that food sources are available of course, and if not, the body is well adapted to (intermittent) fasting if needed). All the stress of worrying about following a certain diet, or being in a certain state (ketosis, fasting, intermittent fasting, only raw etc etc), is often way more toxic to the body than the benefits of that diet. Once all that stress and control is released, the body naturally corrects itself if really listened to, and you even start getting interested in getting higher quality food or growing it yourself. Soon we realise that a toxic body is often the result of a toxic mind (changing mental habits is much harder than changing diet, so that is where the real challenge is). A sensitive body will quickly figure out that all the sugar/fast carb/garbage/additives crab being sold as food nowadays is not actually food. You won´t just know it, but you will feel it. And if you do like a certain diet, great, than one knows it feels right and that is 100% fine. Now this does not mean being out of control....of course not, it means being calm, sensitive, amplifying the joy of eating because it feels intuitively right, and listening to the body while you try out different things. In time, one will know what the body, which its unique genetics, body constitution, energy, physical/mental needs, requires nutrition wise on an intuitive level without becoming a ´follower ´ of a certain diet and creating another ego-attachment. So i will end this thread with an invitation to go a bit deeper again: really feel you body, learn to listen to it, become energetically aware of it, and see how it reacts to your diet & nutrition. Experience, feeling, and intuition, will guide you and do the rest on the way to a healthy natural way of eating. 😘

you manage to keep your team small and focused enough like this at selini? how do you do that when your firm is growing so fast? and where will this go eventually for trading and trading-firms, will it just be more and more advance ai-bots trading against each other eventually with maybe a couple of humans just keeping an eye on it?

The era of vibecoding has gotten a lot of people tapping into some primal 'builder' mentality, they are finding a life force hidden in their evolutionary genetics. Listen to the latest @naval podcast for example on vibecoding. I even speak to some almost-retiree age coders, and they are fired up wanting to ship some new Fomrula1car quality stuff they dreamt of their whole careers and think they can now code up in 6 months. Their epigenome is waking up, their mitochondrial factories going into overdrive from a hibernating life force-- like a chinese factory boss yelling to its minions that NOW is the time to deliver full force and meet that deadline. Seeing how much of their productivity is being unlocked, they compare what is newly possible to the current state of the world - and they can clearly see titillating commercial opportunities. But as we learn from trading markets, you should always think where the puck is going. All the immediate things that are unlocked for you are also now being unlocked for everyone else. If its suddenly easy to make "x application" then by the time you build it, the commercial value will be short lived as the world will have made "x" a commodity already. Any lone wolf out there will be able to compete on the things that are becoming possible for a single person to produce. And there are a lot of smart wolves out there. The real alpha I believe will instead be in lean organizations with leaders able to take groups of ~5-10 wolves and create an aligned incentive structure for them where they prefer to collaborate together in a small pack than be alone. 1. People innately have special talents in different areas, so being able to combine into a team lets specialization occur which unlocks higher quality output. 2. Multithreading people allows for quicker iterating, and less chance of blind spots getting through. 3. Simply, compare how many driven/aligned team of 5-10 superstars there are and how much harder it is to get to that organizational level, than how many solo talented people are out there. Many dont have even the social skills to work with others, its a common side effect of their other superpowers. Bottom line- while the AI tools are unlocking a lot more possibilities for what a single person can produce, the real alpha is in creating a type of organization that can align several of them together. Another barbell we see- hard skills supercharged, and soft skills like understanding psychology and aligning incentives, are what will win. Booksmarts are dead.

What a story...what a journey...... - man, 29 years old - during 7 years, made 300M+ in crypto, mainly by being early to many altcoins & memes - loses 200M+, but somehow managed to pull himself together and cash out around 100M which he parked in stables and bitcoin - goes 1 year on an absolute rampage around the world, spending millions on luxury parties, extravagant resorts, unique experiences, all kind of decadent toys. Savage really.....you can imagine. - spends another year on a yacht accompanied by many ¨chocolate-bunnies¨. So i ask him, what are chocolate-bunnies. He says, ¨ebony-women¨. So had to look that up as well, but finally got the idea, apparently he was into that - becomes horribly depressed after these 2 years, nothing is obviously ever enough, and contacts me after someone recommended my account - a very extreme mind, so on my recommendation, goes on a hardcore meditation regime, 8 hours a day, fasting, full health-mode. Incredible really. These kind of extreme people do everything extreme, so clearly ¨going inside¨ had to be extreme as well. I know he would not listen to normal advise so i just told him ¨you cannot do this¨, which his ego obviously could not take, so he went to do it 😉. - slso sold basically all his useless possessions and parked that in stables too. - travels the world another year visiting all kind of retreat-centers - rarely seen someone progress on the inner path so fast, but obviously his strong ego is still a thing. His ¨need¨ to be the best, the be the one, to be special - still, to face such enormous accumulated pain and karma head on is very brave - he is 33 now - we talk regularly, and he is close to actually leaving 2 years, alone, to a retreat-cabin he bought, ready for the ultimate journey these are the stories i love i also love ¨normal¨ people that just turn inside, leave their 9-5 job, but somehow these ultra extreme characters get really hooked on inner work once they know the benefits and dive in hard and deep. Helps that he is very smart of course, no kids, plenty of free time he still has 100M+ parked in stables and bitcoin. Saving it for the day he is ready to do something useful with it. For now on my recommendation he is not touching it, not becoming tempted, just taking out the minimum for his inner journey He has my respect. Many others would have killed themselves, kept being degenerates, or could not have left the money or fame alone for serious inner work. I suspect we are not done hearing from this man, since he is very smart, and also has a very large crypto-X account which was active for some years, but not anymore, but since i always keep confidence, we just leave it at that posted some of this with his permission for inspiration no matter if your are super poor, or super rich, there is only one serious game in town in the end: inner development and turning inside, on your own, to confront your worst fears and pains

absolutely....this is a very important point since covid, almost every person i talk to thinks or feels ¨things are different¨. Nobody can really put a finger on it, but everyone felt or still feels it, which says enough, i think it is a combination of: 1: mass hysteria and mass spreading of fear 2: locking up of billions in their homes like animals 3: forced vaccinations with horrible side-effects and who knows what kind of long term effects, becoming more and more obvious by the day with more cancers, strokes, miscarriages 4: collective 1984 style measures becoming the norm during these years 5: bad side-effects long term from the vaccine and from the virus itself. Basically every human had or still has increased inflammation levels due to either covid infection, or the vaccine, or both. People seem more anxious and fearful than before 6: collective epidemic of loneliness, feelings of being lost, people betraying each other. Not even the amounts that died, that was minimal %-wise compared to other pandemics, but this really broke people psychologically 7: on top, since then it is non-stop ¨crisis-news¨, be it ukraine, gaza, iran, oil, immigrant-crisis, all the time. The ¨indoctrination/bullshit¨ machine just keeps ploughing out more fear while crazy policies in many countries (incl. your home country UK), are breaking the spines of the normal middle class I think all of this, and probably some other things i forget, are messing up the timeline as you said

true and strange not more people see it have noticed an uptick the last couple of months in dm´s/messages from people, mostly working in tech or software, that are seriously worried about their jobs and asking for advise. My advise is: or become an ai-expert as quickly as possible, or leave and start doing something else what intuitively feels right for you and makes you content

People who believe AI will create new jobs are clueless IMHO. The layoffs will only get worse. First tech, then non-tech, and then manual labour. AI and robots will eventually take almost all jobs, incl most newly created ones.

Physical body As a man and account that always promotes cultivating more energy & consciousness, i do also take care of the physical body, so here an overview of what i do As my taoist master used to say: the physical body is the basis of the pyramid, the energy-work the middle layer, and the spiritual work the top. So without a good basis, nothing can be accomplished on the higher levels To maintain the physical body i do: 1: check-ups - every 3 months i check my blood, basic markers and vitamins. Is very cheap, can basically be done in any clinic nowadays, and been doing it for 15 years+. My sedimentation rate is very low, due to the chaga i drink, a good sign, and all the rest is also always pretty good. Recently had some low calcium so i adjust diet if needed if small things like that pop up - every year or 2 years a full mri/skin/blood/heart check. I use Dutch clinic prescan for that but there are many others nowadays 2: maintain mostly a keto-diet: eggs, vegetables, meat, fish, some fruit, but i make enough exceptions. Ice-cream or pizza with the kids, some chocolate, delicious 3: after waking up when the sun rises, i start physical exercise straight away, usually some weights, swimming, running, around 1 hour. After that 1 hour of meditation & chi gong. Usually also surf a couple of hours a day so i am definitely very fit for my age. Overall at least 14 hours of physical exercise a week 4: overall maintain a muscular well toned body, not obsessed with ultra low fat percentages. I am not too skinny, not fat, just strong and healthy. Using iron shirt chi gong exercises i focus on tendon strength a lot too. See the book ¨iron shirt chi gong¨ by mantak chia 5: when feeling ill, or i feel a cold coming, first thing i do is immediately stop eating and fast until it passes. I also do a 3-day fast every month, only water and chaga. Also a 10-day fast once a year during the darkroom retreat. Can recommend this book on fasting: x.com/Innerdevcrypto… Eating or no eating does not matter to me exercise-wise, so used to fasting that i can always function 6: i make a tea in the morning with cinnamon, ginger, tumeric, pepper, mint, some other herbs when available. I drink some glasses of these during the day. 7: 2 glasses of chaga a day as well. Article on this here: x.com/Innerdevcrypto… 8: i take magnesium sometimes, bisglycinate or l-threonate, but only when i feel tense after heavy surfing sessions 9: i sit in the sun 15 minutes a day at least with maximum skin exposure 10: overall do not take supplements, not into all the hypes that change every week. I believe the biggest advantage most can have is learning to preserve and recycle their sexual energy and cultivating their energy (chi), as shared often on this account. Many people can gain way more power learning energetic skills than toying with supplements. Stopping wasting your most precious energies, what the chinese call the three treasures, is much more effective than some supplements. My recovery rate is much higher than other men my age due to having integrates these energetic skills 11: the physical body is important to take care off, but no the most important, that is always the cultivation of one´s energy and spirit (consciousness). In the end we shed the body, but what remains and was always there is much more important to discover

@klamb33 every morning i used to run very long distances between 13 and 19 years old, 10 to 20km a day, to calm down my overactive mind and avoid myself, which led to my cartilage in my right knee being gone basically. So now i just do short sprints on the beach
