Chef Christopher Delissio grew up in a vibrant Italian household where his love for cooking first took shape. What began as a dishwasher job in a small Colorado mountain restaurant evolved into a 30‑plus‑year culinary career spanning nine states. He holds a culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America, a bachelor’s in journalism and communications from the University of Oregon, and additional certifications in sous vide from the Culinary Research & Education Academy and dietary management credentials from University of North Dakota. After graduating from the CIA, Chef Delissio refined his craft at the Ritz‑Carlton in Naples before joining the world‑renowned Sea Island Resort in Georgia. There, he helped open the Georgian Room, which earned Forbes 5‑star and AAA 5‑diamond recognition in its first year and later became Chef de Cuisine of their Southern Tide restaurant. In 2019, Chef Delissio joined Intermountain Health as Chef de Cuisine for Primary Children’s Hospital and was promoted to Enterprise Executive Chef in 2021.
