Got some giveaway Steam stuff. Half-Life 2 and Portal 1. Portal's been free about 20 times, but maybe someone wants Half-Life 2.

Just bought Down and Out in Paris and London.

[Spoiler-ish]1984 isn't bad, up until the point where he reads /the book/, where it just becomes down right preachy.

Added Oryx and Crake to my shopping list.

That's short term spending, though. I would love backpacking again but I won't be able to for a while.

I have like more money than I would ever need, living with my parents, and the only thing I can think of spending it on is books.

In my shopping basket at the moment are...1984, WoT: Fires of Heaven, I Am Legend. Probably adding something Sanderson-y on it as well then.

@Rand__alThor Nope (nor have I reached his books in WoT), but hear good things about him. Talking about Mistborn, right?

@Rand__alThor Actually had a tab open of the first one. Kinda turned off by how much it gets compared to LOTR.

Hobbit wasn't too bad though.

Need some Fantasy book suggestions. Liked: WoT, ASOIAF, Discworld. Disliked: LOTR (only because I find his writing style dreadfully boring).

A girl I'm hanging out with is /dreading/ the dissection of a rat. I mean, I'm not looking forward to it but you gotta do what you gotta do.

The pay though... 2100 Euro.... Blargle blargle.

So, medical testing's a bust. I need to stay on the premises 24/7 for three weeks, and at this stage I can't do that with school.

So, I just signed myself on for two medical testing situations. One pays out 2100 Euro for 3 weeks, one 700 for one.

Also, indie music, ignoring the crap culture, not that bad.
