@Zeru_Ingal I always felt really guilty about increasing my prices but knew charging $20 for 5 emotes wasn't an accurate reflection when a single emote took like 1h 30-2hours depending on complexity

@Its_Spooka The one good thing with raising prices even slightly is that you have a higher chance of keeping loyal commissioners and also reducing workloads but still getting paid almost the same. One day I hope I can get to a level where I can comfortably manage with art 😭😭😭

@Zeru_Ingal Exactly! Pricing seems to be such a controversial subject and it really shouldn't be. I've seen artists scared of bringing their prices up when they improve because they're scared they'll lose comms because of comments like that person's

@Its_Spooka Absolutely! Ive seen some prices that made my wallet wince but the second I see their showcases it makes sense! I really wish people would understand that this stuff takes time and time is money after all. God forbid artists want fair wages and not discord nitro as payment.
