Being someone who loved team sports growing up; i never saw the appeal to it - (always liked being around mates) But an empty gym at like 11 at night is fucking class. (Peep the live footage of Fat man on a mission to be just man)

@bhea3x_ I really REALLY want the girls and theys to be just as invested to make this happen. These girls are rolemodels in the making. The best examples we have in EMEA are consistently the ones with presence. Praying for a turnaround in mentality

The biggest thing we are still missing in GC EMEA is the connection between players and fans. Yes, our gameplay level is definitely lower than VCT but I have to say it's actually really really really entertaining. I'm not sure if players are really connecting with fans and new viewers. I actually think we might have even gone backward in this. Unfortunately, from what I see, most GC players don't really care about this at all. Let me give you an example. Let's say you are someone who doesn't follow GC EMEA. You open the stream and watch a bit. Would you come back to watch it again? I'm not sure. Why? Because a first time GC viewer has probably watched VCT before, and naturally, they won't find that same quality here but they might stay for the entertainment. And I'm sure people connect more with what they can actually see. Just imagine seeing a player's emotion right after they hit a clutch, it stays in your mind much longer. Because of this, I feel like we really need to make player cams mandatory. I understand how the players feel about it, too. I just hope we can find a middle ground 🙏🏻 Is this going to be better just by adding player cams? Yes, I think it's a huge step forward.

@LaraSmirnova_ @bhea3x_ @ChainsSoul Backing up what Lara said! The crew working behind GC EMEA love having any camera we can get! Sadly not everything is possible. But we DREAM of a world where: A) every player has a camera to use. B) every player is comfortable on camera. C) we can promote these women!

@bhea3x_ @ChainsSoul It’s an idea that was looked into, but quite a few players didn’t have webcams at home. And others didn’t feel comfortable showing herselfs. But when they are on bootcamps, we show the cams in some key moments ☺️

I can honestly say GC EMEA has peaked this year and it's so fun to watch. But I have one issue and I'm genuinely curious about the reason behind it. Why don't we have player cams?? Like the ones in VCL leagues?? I'm just asking because idk, but I'd honestly love to have them.

@jackigoe don’t know how u have the energy to play this game AND work, i feel like if you don’t play for a week you’re so mechanically behind everyone and my mental is so drained after work i couldn’t hack it to play a ranked game
