Mike Richardson is a titan of comics. I first met him when Collin and I working on a BPRD TV series - he acted as the story's protector and enthusiast in equal measure. His company, Dark Horse, is what made me a comics reader. I'll forever be grateful for the stories he fostered.

Received a pretty lovely email from someone who read WE RIDE TITANS, my creator-owned comic from 2022, earlier and found myself pretty overwhelmed with emotion. I have complicated feelings tied up in that book but they all dissipate when I hear from someone who read it and Got It

nuUlts is good to get this type of story but I wish we would’ve gotten to see more of it in the 616 like was being utilized in their Cap and TBolts run. Boy do I miss those books

We're obviously doing our own version of a similar project over in THE LAST STARSHIP - but I know firsthand how hard it is to do this kind of overtly political work at the Big Two. The demand to "both sides" the story can be insurmountable. Bravo to all involved in ULTIMATES.

I cannot tell you what a genuine pleasure it is seeing @DenizCamp let loose on foundational American myths. He released MAXWELL'S DEMONS at the same time we were cooking ZOJAQAN (both at Vault) and I knew it from jump: he's the most interesting comics writer in our generation.

Spent years in the indie comics scene, then made it abundantly clear over several years to editors at IDW that creating new Trek stories was a high priority. @DavidHedgecock listened, brought us in, and after a year or so, YEAR FIVE kicked off with the Hivemind “showrunning.”
