The Ottawa 67's, and entire OSEG family are heartbroken by last week’s vehicle collision in Cornwall that claimed three lives, including 16-year-old Maddy Duval, cousin of Bradley Horner. A dedicated hockey player from the age of five, Maddy appeared in net for Clarence-Rockland Girls U18 this season. Known for her steadfast and reliable presence in the crease, she spent nine seasons with the Glengarry Highlanders: forever her home association. Maddy’s family is proud to announce the creation of the Maddy Duval Defender of the Crease Foundation, supporting initiatives that provide girls in local communities with access to hockey, the game she loved so much. We extend our deepest sympathies to Maddy’s family, her boyfriend Brayden, and all who knew and loved her during this time.

The Ottawa 67’s join longtime Assistant Coach, and current member of our hockey operations department Bert O’Brien in mourning the passing of his wife of 56 years, Catherine, on April 8.   Throughout Bert’s time with the 67’s, Cathy was a passionate supporter of our team, and her warmth and kindness made a positive impact on everyone that she encountered both inside and outside of the arena. We extend our most heartfelt condolences to the O’Brien family, and all of Cathy’s loved ones.

This weekend, it was announced that 67's Athletic Therapist MP Néron has accepted a job with the Laval Rocket. "I’m a girl from Chicoutimi, and I’m proud to go back home, and work in the Montreal Canadiens organization. They are why I started doing this in the first place.”
