E sapete cosa successe all'assistente Maggiani travolto dall'assalto a Fort Apache? 😂

🚨🚨BREAKING: Gervasoni INFLUENCED VAR officials in Inter-Roma by DISCOURAGING them to review the Ndicka's foul on Bisseck, per TWO witnesses' testimonies. The prosecution is now asking for video and audio of this conversation The focus of investigations in the Rocchi scandal have shifted to Inter-Roma, one of the most talked about matches of last season and one that decided the Scudetto race in Napoli's favor. The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office, as reported by La Repubblica, is deepening its investigation to understand the exact sequence of events surrounding that match and to verity whether the accounts of at least two witnesses heard in the questioning of referees are accurate: the knock by supervisor Andrea Gervasoni on the glass of VAR room and the "mind your own business" remark to VAR officials regarding a penalty not awarded to Inter for the foul - which later was acknowledged by the AIA that it was a foul and should have been a penalty - committed by Ndicka on Bisseck in the Roma penalty box. The incident, which goes beyond the boundaries of VAR protocol, was reported by former referee Domenico Rocchi who also filed a complaint last May that helped expanding the investigation by the Guardia di Finanza coordinated by prosecutor Maurizio Ascione. It was also confirmed by another former referee, who was summoned multiple times and spent several hours providing statements. Both reported what was being said and taken place during those moments. In the closing moments of Inter-Roma on April 27, 2025, the on-field referee Michael Fabbri let Ndicka's foul on Inter's Bisseck go unpunished. However, VAR assistant, Marco Piccinini, raised doubts to VAR referee Marco Di Bello about whether to intervene. And at this point, Gervasoni would step in, tapping on the glass to DISCOURAGE them from calling the referee on the pitch to review the play regarding the possible penalty, therefore influencing the referee's decision. This conversation was not heard in any audio or video footage broadcast by TV program OPEN VAR in which Rocchi himself at the time admitted to having delayed the transmission, perhaps to shield his colleagues from end-of-season controversy since, by his own admission, the penalty should have been awarded. And now, the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office intends to obtain the original audio and videos files as soon as possible to understand the incident and potential liability. La Repubblica

🚨 BREAKING: A source has put on record, as part of the Rocchi investigation, that the VAR supervisor during #Inter-Roma, Andrea Gervasoni, DIRECTLY INTERFERED with the VAR call concerning Ndicka-Bisseck. When the foul was flagged, officials were told to ‘mind your own business’, which led to VAR NOT intervening and NOT sending the on-field referee to the video screen to check for a potential penalty. The reason for this was ‘on recommendation of Supervisor Gervasconi’. [via @panorama_it]

🚨BREAKING: Inter-Roma last season is under investigation. Witness reportedly told prosecutors that VAR official told his assistant to "mind your business" when he was pointing out a foul on Bisseck, which should have given Inter a penalty Per La Repubblica, the testimonies provided detailed accounts of suspicious incidents. There are five matches under scrutiny, already known, that led to an investigation into Rocchi himself and his assistant Gervasoni, as well as VAR officials Nasca and Di Vuolo (and Paterna for forgery per prosecutors). But there are other matches as well. Like Inter-Roma a year ago: "Mind your own business," the Var official reportedly told his assistant who was signaling a foul on Inter's Bisseck which should have given the Nerazzurri a penalty, according to the witness "on the instructions of supervisor Gervasoni." No VAR audio for this game was found. La Repubblica

Drone footage released shows Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon reduced to near-total destruction following Israeli bombardment. This is what is left of a city of 30,000 people. Canada must do more than offer toothless condemnations of Israel’s illegal acts of aggression.

I urge everyone to watch this report by Channel 4 News about Israel’s killing of Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil. “Under international humanitarian law, journalists are afforded the same protection as civilians… If that journalist has a particular sympathy with a particular cause, that doesn’t mean that protection is removed… … the IDF said the incident is under review. Don’t hold your breath…” Providing the necessary context and not taking Israel’s claims at face value. This is how every journalist should be reporting.

Everyone should read what the Israeli military did to journalist Amal Khalil today in this minute-by-minute account as the international community watched in horror. First the text messages threatening her then trapping her and a photographer in a house then bombing them then firing on international rescue crews, all with the world watching in real time. There are no words left for the horrors that U.S. political leaders are enabling.

🚨BREAKING🚨Israeli forces are now issuing direct death threats to Lebanese journalists on WhatsApp as well as besieging them. Al-Akhbar correspondent @AmalKhalil83, who has been documenting the devastation across southern Lebanon, received these messages from an Israeli number (+972 54-869-5113): “We know where you are… we will reach you… leave if you want to keep your head on your shoulders.” First message: “Alright, my lady, you are moving from one village to another, but you still haven’t gone to enough funerals or hospitals. There is a lot of grief & sorrow behind that smile you try to show on Twitter. Let’s see what your answer will be… Is your house still standing, Anisa (Miss)? I hope so?” Second message: “We know where you are & we will reach you when the time comes. Even though you are not important to us, in the end we will take everything into account. I suggest you flee to Qatar or somewhere else if you want to keep your head connected to your shoulders :)” This is not intimidation. This is the IDF issuing an explicit death threat to a journalist for covering their crimes. At the same time, Israeli forces besieged Amal al-Khalil & journalist Zeinab Faraj in al-Tayri, blocking the Red Cross & Lebanese Army from reaching them. They were in a delegate vehicle when a drone strike hit a vehicle behind them, killing two people. Both journalists were trapped at the scene. Amal contacted the Red Cross before her phone died. Her last message confirmed she was still safe. Rescue teams still cannot reach the two besieged journalists, Amal al-Khalil & Zeinab Faraj. They are just 500 meters away, but the road has been cut off by an Israeli strike, according to Red Cross paramedics. This is targeting journalists in real time. This is a crime. Pure state terrorism against the press.
