TEXAS: The Will of the People Was Overridden Behind Closed Doors. In October, 2025, Abraham George made the call to shut the doors, cut the live feed, and take this out of public view. This photo has been provided to me by someone with the grit to finally speak up. After the State Republican Executive Committee voted to uphold the censure of Representative Jared Patterson, George moved the discussion into an improperly called executive session - away from the public, and away from accountability. This session was used to threaten members and coerce their votes. A phone call was received by Abraham George during this session … Matt Brasseaux - appointed by Donald Trump as Director of the Office of Political Affairs - was brought in on speakerphone. Dozens of SREC members stood around the podium and listened as instructions were given as shown in this never-before-seen exclusive photo. They were told not to vote on Penalty Three. I want you to really think about this… members of the governing body of the Texas GOP were instructed how to act from the VERY TOP. They were warned about funding. They were told they did not want to go against “the will of Trump and Washington, D.C.” That is not grassroots. That is top-down control. And it gets worse. The precinct chairs and state delegates -the actual grassroots - had already voted for Penalty Three. Their will was clear. And Jared Patterson was the biggest one on the chopping block when it came to penalty 3. But instead of representing their districts, nearly 40% of SREC members fell in line. Why? Because they were told to. Because leadership under Abraham George chose to suppress the will of the people rather than defend it. Let’s be clear about what the SREC is supposed to be: They are NOT employees of party leadership. They are NOT extensions of Washington. They are elected to represent the grassroots Republicans in their Senate Districts! To be a voice for the people, not a mouthpiece for the top. They are not supposed to take commands on censures…or anything else. Yet that is exactly what happened. People are beginning to speak up. People who have worked with Abraham in the past are coming to me to make sure everyone knows the truth. This will not be my only story regarding the chair. There is more … I had no idea how many disliked Abraham until this week. And they want Texas to know just how bad it is. A party controlled from the top down is not a grassroots party. It is an establishment machine. At Convention, the choice is simple: Do we continue down this centralized path? Or do we take back a party that answers to its delegates? Vote Abraham OUT.
