@DanielCherny The “calendar creep” of the footy codes are a huge challenge for all summer sports The reality is those sports totally dominate the media / fans / corporate mind space, so the other sports must decide if they want to clash & fight against them, or try to avoid.

@JaseRicho This has been floated at state level and is not the worst idea IMO. Only way it would work though is moving domestic one-dayers entirely to March and starting Shield season in September.
