Last night, I joined officers in the FDLE Basic SWAT School to speak with them, share a meal, and learn about their training and their goals to secure Florida. Thank you to the men and women at FDLE who are working around the clock to keep Florida safe.
Our state prospers thanks to people like these who step up to lead and take on responsibility.

I had a productive visit today in the Panhandle with @BayCountySO Sheriff Ford. I always enjoy meeting the people behind the scenes who selflessly serve and look out for the safety of others.

Great to be with Governor @RonDeSantis today as he signed HB 1471 to protect the laws of Florida and the United States against radical ideologies like Sharia law.
We have our own laws in Florida. We won’t accept foreign influence meant to erode our legal system and way of life.

Last week I was in Hardee County with @HCSheriff Sheriff Crawford, where we toured the county jail, toured the Sheriff’s Office, and took the time to speak with the deputies who keep their communities safe.
Rural law enforcement needs our support. They have my commitment that as governor I will ensure they always have the tools and training they need.

I had a great time in St. Lucie County last week with so many patriots who care about the future of our state.
We’ve made so much progress over the past few years. I’m proud to have worked with Governor @RonDeSantis when I was in the Senate to pass meaningful conservative legislation. We cannot go back.
As Lt. Governor, I promise to keep driving that conservative momentum, and I am Day One Ready to be the next governor of Florida.
