Game devs, I really think it’s just as important to make something you’re actually passionate about. You don’t have to jump onto 'friendslop' trends just to make money, honestly. It doesn't even guarantee you'll make a viral hit. Make what you want to make, but do it well!

However the number of players that have tried it is fairly good so it makes it even more apparent that people that use just steam charts to argue if a game is dead or not are just wrong (in most cases)

Controversial take for players.
It is fairly well known within FPS studios that statistically new maps do NOT bring back old players or attract new ones. I have seen a lot of data to support this.
Players believe it is a huge draw, but the reality is that rewarding players time is more important.
Battlefield, a franchise I love.. has failed to answer the question “why am I playing this game” for a decade now.
