Traffic advisory: Road closures remain in place along Grays Ferry Avenue corridor due to collapse response. Grays Ferry Ave closed from 34th to 28th Sts. All intersections along this stretch are blocked. 28th St remains open to traffic. 34th St NB and SB remains open to traffic.

A controlled demolition of the structure at 3000 Grays Ferry Ave is expected to begin this afternoon. There will be increased activity around the site including sounds. Residents and businesses in the area are asked to avoid the scene and close windows during the process.

The City’s Snow Emergency has ended, effective at 6am today. Parking on emergency routes may resume. Work continues to treat and plow roadways and streets across Philadelphia. Residents can make calls to 311 to report storm-related service requests beginning at 8am.
