Day 1 Recap at the California Democratic Party Conference in San Francisco. I had the opportunity to speak, connect with leaders from across our state, and talk about what California families truly deserve: safer communities, accountability, and leadership that delivers results.

🚨NEW: Democrat @DrJasmeetBains is in a DEAD HEAT against Republican David Valadao, according to a recent poll of the CA-22 race. The poll confirms that Dr. Bains is best-positioned to flip this seat and help Democrats retake the majority in Congress. ⬇️ (1/4)

On the initial ballot ask, Bains and her opponent each drew 42% support, with 17% undecided. But after voters learned more about both candidates, Bains’ support jumps to 45% while Valadao’s falls to 40%. (2/4)

No other Democrat broke 40% support among Central Valley voters. Rudy Salas—who has lost to Valadao twice—polled at just 38%, trailing Valadao’s 43%. Randy Villegas performed even worse, drawing 33% to Valadao’s 44% in a head-to-head matchup. (3/4)
