May is Bike Safety Month! As more people get outside to ride and walk, it’s a great time to focus on simple habits that keep everyone safe on our roads and sidewalks.

A properly fitted helmet isn’t optional—it’s essential. Take 10 seconds before every ride to adjust your straps and make sure your helmet stays secure when you move.

We all know how it feels to cross the street. A little patience behind the wheel goes a long way. Stop for pedestrians and give them the space you’d hope for when you’re on foot.

Speed limits aren’t suggestions, they’re safety tools. Lower speeds mean more time to spot pedestrians, cyclists, and kids crossing the street. Getting there safely always beats getting there fast.
