@gfaller6 Same. A maintained residential lawn which is likely watered or in a spot with better water retention. Wild or unmanaged grass browns faster in heat and drought.

@JEVLloyd Same. Dirty hands eating a weenie burned on a stick. Then marshmallow, then more playing, licking it all off sticky fingers. Sleep outside with just a sleeping bag.

A little about me. I was raised free range-style in a local forest, making tree forts with neighbour kids for hours on end. Then our parents would do group BBQs with all families together. Us kids were dirty and happy. I am 50 and I am the happiest and most at peace outdoors.

URGENT 🚨 I am asking the community for help in locating a missing 14-year-old girl and bringing her home safely. She is described as having brown hair and brown eyes and is approximately 5’1”- 5’3”. She was last seen on Friday, May 15, at around 11:30, at Earl Bales Park near Bathurst and Sheppard. She may be without food, money, or a phone. Her family and community are extremely concerned for her safety. We are asking anyone who may have seen her, or who has any information about where she may be, to come forward immediately. @JEVLloyd Same! We were what would be described today as feral. I raised my boys similarly—I see that as a privileged existence now. I have always been most comfortable outside for sure.

The owner of a waterfront home recently invited the general public to come tour his house and home art studio. And included in the tour was his invite to "please do go and sit in the red chairs down by the water!" You bet I did! 😍 #BeautifulBC 🌿🇨🇦

@snufflewort It was just amazing how many artists were very gracious letting everybody into their houses. I mean like walking around the kitchens and the living rooms and their yards and everything. I got to about seven or eight artists' houses!
