Open House for 9th graders and students who are new to Jefferson High School will be on Wednesday, July 26, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Students should enter the Arena first, using the lower doors to receive pertinent information. We are excited to welcome our new Dragons to JHS!

There is a shipping delay for our parking passes. No parking passes will be distributed today (Monday, July 24). We will notify you when they are available.

Congratulations to the Jefferson High School Athletics Program for being ranked 4th in the Class AAAAA Directors Cup Award standings! The GADA Directors Cup recognizes GA athletic programs that have excelled and exhibited superior performance. @jtowndragons

The Community Health Awareness Event is a great opportunity for rising 11th graders to make sure they are up to date on immunizations and/or have received the required meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4) booster prior to the start of the 2023-2024 school year.

JHS Softball Camp is ongoing this week. The tradition of excellence continues as JHS Graduate Samantha Vinson instructs campers today.

Graduation practice has been changed to Friday morning (May 19) at 9:00 AM at Memorial Stadium. Breakfast will be served to seniors at 8:30 at the stadium on Friday. Graduation practice is mandatory for all seniors.

The Senior Car Parade is still on at 7:00 PM today (Wednesday)! Seniors should meet at 6:30 in the parking lot to line up.

2023 STAR Student David Heard and STAR Teacher Amberly Roberts were recognized last night at the Region 4 PAGE STAR Banquet.  The banquet was held at the UGA Center for Continuing Education in Athens.
