major cheat providers notified their users that valve cranked up cs2 cheat detection and it started catching obvious rage hacks, they're asking to use less noticable features for now

Known Issue: NVIDIA GPU Driver Crashes on Certain Maps We’re investigating an issue on PC where some players may experience a GPU driver crash when playing on maps with large bodies of water, including Tsuru Reef. Based on our current data, the issue appears to affect NVIDIA GPUs, with reports more concentrated among players using GeForce RTX 50 Series cards. The issue does not appear to affect all players using these GPUs. While we continue working with NVIDIA to identify a resolution, players experiencing repeated driver crashes are advised to temporarily roll back to NVIDIA driver version 596.49. If crashes continue after rolling back, please share your GPU model, driver version, affected map, and any available crash report details in our Technical Issues page on our EA Forums, to help us narrow down the cause. We’ll provide another update as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your patience while we investigate.

You know what’d be cooler than getting new skins? A working Anti-Cheat. I can handle the occasional Bot Cheater… but we‘re literally back to 3 years ago with spinbotters and temu $5 Cheaters every Match 💀 actively play Premier for a week and See for yourself.

@renyan I think they have cooked with the C4. The rest of the patch was mostly from the community. I would also have liked changes to the Premier System from Valve, a solution for the bots in DM and obviously something that reduces the cheating problems….

Honestly hard to be excited about the updates when the end result is always the same as long as cheaters get a free pass to play this game. The games I'm playing in Season 5 are the least skilled games I have ever played in CS2...

Now I know why Valve delayed the Armory update for so long. They had to bundle Armory with the Premier Season 5 update, because otherwise the update would've been almost empty. They added literally nothing new besides the bomb explosion change, 5 additional Community maps, and Cache. By including Armory with Season 5, the update looks much bigger than it actually is. It feels more like filler than meaningful content. A bit disappointing. I think a lot of people were expecting much more. #CS2 #counterstrike #season5
