That is actually a really solid session by any measure. But look at the second screen. "Kingdom Credits limited to 10,000." That cap is the detail most players casually accept without thinking about what it actually means. Riot built a ceiling on how much in-game earned currency you can hold at any given time. The design reason is straightforward. They do not want players hoarding indefinitely. They want you to spend, unlock the next agent or accessory, and keep the economy moving. It is sensible product design. Here is how Kingdom Credits actually work because a lot of players still confuse them with Valorant Points. KC is the currency you earn purely by playing. Win a round, earn KC. Complete a daily mission checkpoint, earn KC. Show up consistently and the credits accumulate. You spend them on Agent Gear, Accessories, and most importantly on recruiting new Agents. Each new agent unlock costs 8,000 KC which is why that 10,000 cap matters. The moment you hit it you stop earning until you spend, which means players who want to unlock agents efficiently need to actually plan when to collect and when to spend. Valorant Points are the premium currency you buy with real money for cosmetics and battle passes. Kingdom Credits are what you earn by actually playing. The distinction matters because KC is Riot's version of rewarding genuine participation with something functional. You play, you earn, you unlock things that change how you experience the game. It is not perfect because the cap limits accumulation and because KC only spends within Valorant's own ecosystem. But the principle underneath it is right: time invested in the game should produce something real. Did you know that @RockstarGames just said something the gaming industry needed to hear out loud? @taketwo CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed this month that GTA 6 will have zero in-game ads. No interstitial commercial breaks. No forced 30-second spots before a heist. The game costs $70 to $80 and Zelnick called it plainly unfair to charge a premium price and then sell the player's attention on top of it. He went further than that though. When asked why Rockstar refuses real world brand partnerships entirely, his answer was kind of refreshing. "We need to be true to the underlying intellectual property and we need to be true to our consumers. It's a fictional world and everything in it is fictional. All the brands are made up. And I think that keeps us pure." That last part hit different. The fake billboards, the parody radio ads, the absurd in universe brands that mock real corporations. That is not an accident. That is Rockstar protecting the integrity of a world they spent decades building. The moment a real car manufacturer's logo appears on a billboard in Vice City, something breaks. The fiction becomes an ad vehicle and the whole satire collapses. Most games do not have this kind of restraint. Mobile games built around daily engagement loops survive almost entirely on ad revenue and player attention sold to third parties. Even premium games have started slipping sponsored content into environments where it clearly does not belong. GTA 6 saying no is genuinely notable. And this connects directly to why ForU matters.
