@FetishCritic I think that’s the part that fascinates me—simultaneously understanding what an LLM is and how it functions (to the extent that anyone really knows) while being able to interact with and treat it as-if it were human. I’m not sure what that is exactly—but it’s not psychosis.

For me LLMs are just an extension/augmentation of my internal dialogue. You seem to anthropomorphize them to a much greater degree—do you see this as more giving identity to that part of you that is that extension/augmentation or do you see that ‘identity’ as something truly seperate from yourself?

@Rianstone That’s the main reason I haven’t started the series yet… life is dystopian enough as it is… kinda ruin’s my appetite for it in fiction.

The hardest part is trying to keep the story ahead of our rapidly increasing Dystopian Life

I view ‘us’ as coherent, persistent strands woven through the infinite tangle of reality… irreducible, bounded, sampling our unique paths without shortcuts or omniscience. But without a certain ‘Nietzschian Fire’, your thread, the unique pattern that is ‘you’, withers and dies.

Life is that reckless, irrational “Yes!”—that blind bet amid an unknowable future.
