How should we pray? Rather than a long-drawn-out list of what you should and should not do when praying, let's look at some biblical guidelines for all Christians: hubs.li/Q04fQJ2l0

A lot of times when we share the Word of God with remote tribes and people groups, we hear stories of people being healed from all kinds of ailments. Through that, lives are changed and many come to follow Christ. But this story is different. In Cuba, a group of blind believers are hearing the Word of God—and while their physical sight hasn’t been restored, their spiritual sight has been completely transformed. They listen to Scripture constantly, and now they’re inviting others to come and hear it too. Hear more: hubs.li/Q04gcQTG0

The concept of salvation is often reduced to individual benefit, but historical biblical texts present a much larger cosmic reality. An exposition of Ephesians demonstrates that the ultimate purpose of redemption is to glorify divine majesty. The passage describes believers as being permanently sealed by the Spirit and granted an eternal inheritance. Learn more: hubs.li/Q04g5x_f0

One of our great joys at the ATRI has been the opportunity to work alongside Faith Comes By Hearing to provide Audio Bibles in the heart language of the people to those who cannot (for whatever reason) benefit from a printed Bible. Over the past dozen years we have received constant reports of the absolute, overwhelming joy expressed by people who discover, “God speaks my language!” Read more: hubs.li/Q04gcLmj0

The book of Exodus provides crucial insight into the biblical view of the unborn. In Exodus chapter 21, the legal penalty for injuring a pregnant woman is exactly the same as the penalty for injuring her developing child. The principle of a life for a life applies equally to both individuals. This specific passage demonstrates that the unborn are granted the exact same legal and moral value as an adult. The sincere faith Timothy experienced was an extension of being raised by a godly mother named Eunice and a godly grandmother named Lois. What can we learn from these faithful women? hubs.li/Q04d-HRq0

A note from Darlene Ankerberg: I don’t think God created any job as important as that of “Mother.” We, the moms and grandmothers, have the primary responsibility of teaching our children about who God is, and how He wants them to live. We do that not only by our words but by our actions. If that sounds like a daunting task, I can tell you from experience that it is! But it is also extremely rewarding! There’s some something about seeing your child grow up to be a firm follower of Jesus Christ that is better than all the riches in the world. I’m so thankful for my mother and grandmother, who poured into my life with their words, their actions and their prayers. I’m thankful for my daughter, who continues to live for Christ every day. I’d like to especially encourage moms who are struggling with hard times. Maybe you are dealing with a rebellious child. I want you to know that God knows what you are going through. He knows the struggles you face. And He has promised to be there with you every step of the way. “He will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:8). Remember, in Galatians 6:9 the apostle Paul encourages us to “not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” So, moms, hang in there. Rejoice in your victories. Take your defeats to the foot of the cross. And continue to be that strong leader, that example to your kids, with the prayer that one day (maybe not today, teen-mom!), your kids will “rise up and call [you] blessed” (Proverbs 31:28)! Happy Mother’s Day! Darlene

The search for spiritual assurance frequently causes someone to question their standing before the God. 1 John 4 explores how true assurance does not originate from human effort. Instead, it begins with the presence of the Holy Spirit and the historical reality of the Son of God. Believers can find settled peace by abiding in Christ. Learn more: hubs.li/Q04fXqwG0

For many, Mother’s Day is a time of celebration. For others, however, the holiday increases anxiety, as those who struggle in their relationship with their mother face the concern of how to best handle the moment. How can you honor your mom if your relationship is not close or is in conflict? hubs.li/Q04fQ2CG0

The foundation of historical Christian belief rests on the absolute independence of God. Careful research into the doctrine of aseity shows that the Creator would exist even if the physical universe disappeared entirely. This profound reality dictates that humanity remains completely contingent upon a self sustaining power. Read more: hubs.li/Q04fqJsh0

The theme for the 2026 National Day of Prayer is “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations.” Around the world people of many different languages, tribes, and nations are glorifying God as a result of hearing His Word. How then should we pray? hubs.li/Q04cYgDs0

What is the Grace of God? The offer of salvation is frequently described as a free gift but it carries a profound cost. Objective theological research points directly to the sacrifice of the historical Jesus as the ultimate demonstration of divine grace. Because human beings cannot earn this favor the substitute sacrifice becomes the central pillar of the Christian faith. Learn more: hubs.li/Q04fqvmW0
