🚨BREAKING NEWS...Judge orders RCMP to hand over names in Artur Pawlowski lawsuit The lawsuit targets multiple government agencies and officials over alleged harassment, arrests and coordinated enforcement actions tied to the COVID era. Written by Angelica Toy Pastor Artur Pawlowski scored a partial court victory this week as his sweeping civil lawsuit against multiple government agencies and officials made its first appearance before the courts. Pawlowski and his brother Dawid are suing the RCMP, CBSA, Calgary Police Service, Alberta Health Services, the City of Calgary, former Calgary police chief Mark Neufeld, correctional authorities connected to the Calgary Remand Centre, and Canada Post. The lawsuit stems from a series of arrests, investigations and enforcement actions tied to COVID-era church crackdowns and protest-related policing. The brothers allege they were targeted, harassed and intimidated over their political and religious beliefs, accusing multiple agencies of abusing their authority through coordinated enforcement actions, arrests, investigations and ongoing legal pressure. Claims involving the CBSA stem from Pawlowski’s 2021 arrest at Calgary International Airport, while allegations involving the RCMP relate to investigations and enforcement actions connected to pandemic protests and demonstrations. The lawsuit also targets Calgary Police Service and former police chief Mark Neufeld over arrests and policing actions carried out in Calgary, along with correctional authorities tied to the Calgary Remand Centre over alleged treatment while in custody. Canada Post is also named in the lawsuit over an incident involving Pawlowski’s arrest at a Canada Post location inside a Shoppers Drug Mart, which the brothers allege formed part of a broader pattern of harassment and targeting. The case appeared before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench on May 13, where the first major dispute focused on disclosure. Pawlowski’s legal team has been attempting to obtain the identities of officials connected to the RCMP and CBSA. Federal Crown lawyers pushed back, arguing the CBSA portion of the lawsuit should be dismissed under a strict limitation period contained in the Customs Act. The judge ruled that the CBSA does not currently have to disclose names while that summary dismissal application remains before the court. However, the court reached a different conclusion regarding the RCMP. The judge noted there is currently no active summary dismissal application involving the Mounties and ordered the RCMP to disclose the name of its disclosing officer within 30 days. The CBSA dismissal application has yet to be heard. If the Crown is unsuccessful in that application, the border agency could still be required to hand over the names being sought by Pawlowski’s legal team. For now, the RCMP has 30 days to comply as the lawsuit continues through the courts. streetchurch.ca

We mourn miscarriages because we know a life has been lost. We know a child has died and we know the devastation it causes to the child’s parents. We know it’s a child when it’s a miscarriage, but then pretend it’s not when it’s abortion? Abortion is murder.

Peter Dalglish (born May 20, 1957, in London, Ontario) is a Canadian humanitarian, lawyer, and founder of Street Kids International, a charity he established in the 1980s to help street children and working kids in developing countries gain life and work skills. He had a long career in international aid, including roles with the UN (such as country representative in Afghanistan and work in Sudan, Ethiopia, and Liberia), focusing on child poverty, child labor prevention, and support for war-affected children. He authored the book The Courage of Children and was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 2016 for his decades of humanitarian work. He lost his Order of Canada appointment because he is a convicted child sex offender. Dalglish was arrested in Nepal in 2018 on charges of sexually abusing minors, convicted in 2019 of child sexual assault, and sentenced to prison. Petitions and public pressure had called for his removal for years following the conviction. Jacques Lamarre is a Canadian civil engineer and longtime business executive. He earned degrees from Université Laval and attended Harvard’s executive development program. He joined SNC-Lavalin (now AtkinsRéalis) in 1967, rose to become its president and CEO from 1996 to 2009, and oversaw significant international growth of the Montreal-based engineering and construction giant. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2005 for his leadership in the engineering sector. He lost his Order of Canada appointment after Quebec’s professional engineering regulator, the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, found him guilty in 2025 of multiple counts of professional misconduct. This included collusion and corruption tied to SNC-Lavalin’s business practices during his tenure (such as contracts linked to the Gadhafi family in Libya and political financing issues in Montreal). In January 2026, the regulator revoked his engineering licence for life and fined him $75,000 - the harshest penalty available. The Order of Canada is rarely revoked, and only for serious misconduct or criminal convictions that undermine the honour’s integrity. I wonder how long Mark Carney will keep his?

@WeAreCanProud It has nothing to do with Carney. Tell your friend Trump to stop the War with Iran. Or Provinces can lower their taxes. Oil & Gas Companies are making huge profits. Cenovus Q1 earnings up 83% from last year.

AWFUL: A Quebec physician says parents should be able to euthanize disabled newborn babies. He says parents “should have the opportunity” to have their newborn killed under Canada’s MAiD euthanasia regime. This is absolutely insane.

🥩 Same cow. Same cut. Different country. 2× the price. 🇦🇺 Australia ships steak across the planet for $24/kg. 🇨🇦 Canada can’t move it across a province for under $52/kg. This isn’t climate. This isn’t transport. This is policy + supply management + cartel pricing.🙄 When food is cheaper from 14,000 km away, the problem isn’t farmers . it’s the system. 🇨🇦 #Canada #Inflation #Christmas #SupplyManagement #CostOfLiving @FoodProfessor @MarcNixon24 @PierrePoilievre @StephenPunwasi

@MorganLaidler Not true. They were presented with a petition to hold a referendum to remain in Canada. Obviously, their answer would be “yes.” Let’s have the referendum and have it done with.

Jesus fucking Christ. 700K Albertans DO NOT want a referendum (no matter how she wants to spin it), about 300K do as they signed the separatist petition. The 400K that signed to remain in Canada want this nonsense to be done with and do actual things that matter.
Courtney Theriault@cspotweet

Premier Smith says it shouldn't be up to a single, unelected Trudeau-appointed judge should overrule the 700K Albertans who want a separation referendum. She also suggests she would appeal this all the way to the Supreme Court.

@KirkLubimov @kevin_inalberta Canada has got to be the most ridiculous country on earth! Canadians have chosen radical ideology over common sense and prosperity. Albertans, you have one shot at getting of the sinking ship before it goes down. Choose independence!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Today, to approve an oil pipeline; Canada - Alberta: had to implement higher industrial carbon taxes, net zero targets, spend $20+ billion on carbon capture, and MAYBE start working on a pipeline after September 1st, 2027 to complete around 2034. 1 MMb/d. UAE: Anyways, we gona build a pipeline to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, it will be done next year. 1.8 MMb/d 🤡🇨🇦

Activist: "Beef uses an obscene amount of water. Fifteen thousand litres per kilo." Farmer: "Where did the water come from?" Activist: "What?" Farmer: "The fifteen thousand litres. Where was it before it was on the bill." Activist: "I don't know. A river?" Farmer: "The sky. About ninety-four percent of that figure is rain that fell on the field and got drunk by the grass. The cow ate the grass. The rain was on its way down whether the cow was here or not." Activist: "But it still counts as water used." Farmer: "By the grass. Which would have used it whether I farmed or moved to Spain. The cow isn't commissioning the rainfall. The rain isn't on the cow's payroll." Activist: "Then just don't have the cow." Farmer: "The rain still falls. The grass still drinks it. The water cycles back into the air anyway, just without anyone getting fed in the middle." Activist: "It's not that simple." Farmer: "It's rain, grass, cow, river. Or it's rain, grass, rot, river. Same circle, fewer dinners. Meanwhile every almond in your milk took a gallon of pumped aquifer water in California to grow. That one you might want to worry about. The rain in Wales is doing fine without your concern."

To those who say Danielle Smith has achieved nothing for Alberta, I would just say that there would be no MOU, no reduction in the industrial carbon tax, and a major delay in building Pathways. She has fought against every anti oil policy of the Trudeau govt. Today Alberta won the battle but not the war. The war won’t be over until a new pipeline starts pumping oil.

Asked whether an independence petition could affect pipeline investment, Premier Danielle Smith says separatist sentiment has fallen from 42% to about 35%. She says the PM's "cooperative federalism" could strengthen confidence in Canada and improve investment conditions.

Citizens during covid tried to talk to their politics but they wouldn't listen...so they protested. They protested and had their assets frozen. They tried to use their voices again with a citizen led petition but are getting stomped on by the courts. Creating a no-win situation for citizens will not end well. We do not live in a dictatorship (yet) so maybe it's about time for our social servants to remember who they work for, and for the citizens to remind themselves that we DO have these democratic rights. @echipiuk

Elon just endorsed it. Gad Saad dropped the hammer on Fox this morning. We now live in a world where: - Rape victims get less sympathy than their rapists - Homeowners get less than the squatters breaking in - American vets get less than illegal migrants - Repeat felons with 186 charges get 200 more “chances” because “society made them do it” This isn’t kindness. This is suicidal empathy. Universities spent decades teaching our judges, leaders, and elites that personal agency is a myth if you check the right oppression boxes. So criminals become victims, victims become bigots for complaining, and the whole system rots from the inside.
