Aside from an Aaron Judge hit, don't think you could have drawn up a better opening night. Aggressive, contact-driven attack at the plate. Max Fried was uber efficient. Yankees start the season with a dominant win.

Can't ask for much more from Max Fried to start the season. He was efficient, commanded pretty much each at-bat after the first inning, and barely broke a sweat. The Yankees have quite the ceiling for their rotation once healthy.

Barry Bonds just said on the Netflix broadcast that George Steinbrenner offered to make him the highest-paid player in MLB with the Yankees before he went to the Giants, but told him he had to sign by 2 p.m. that day. Barry wanted to take his time. Went to the Giants instead.
