Delighted to have been quoted in this fantastic article, "The Art of Reinvention: Names, Identity, and the Freedom to Begin Again." Always great to share insights on the role of aliases in electronic music! Give it a read. 🎧 createdefinerelease.com/feature/the-ar…

If no one hates your music, it probably also means that no one loves your music.

A blind date where you have no idea whether your date will be bored, reserved, or enthralled by you. Imagine you stuck with that energy for the next few hours but you being the one to keep the date going. That's not so different to what a soloist does performing on stage.

Today I reduced my carers to just one visit per day. When I left hospital 2.5 years ago I had them 4 times a day. This feels like a momentous day. I shall celebrate with orange squash mixed with thickener

There could be more spoken in the music industry about the fact that musicians that are in the limelight --and yet also have a history of PTSD/highly complex trauma-- can re-experience 'the audience' as the abuser.

@JWHallBaritone @CrossEyedPiano I think the issue I encounter working with composers in the therapy space is the problem of who gets to decide who is a new grown up butterfly to be seen and who is still in the cocoon ... just a thought from the other side!

@CrossEyedPiano @JQflute I think of a creature too, emerging from a cocoon... images of growth, transition, coming to light. I think these all apply to artists of all kinds in the process of becoming visible to audiences. And not about being newly grown up, but fully fledged maybe.
