I was so excited, told my sister, and she immediately flipped, saying I couldn't use our own mother's name because her daughter (my niece) wants it for her future baby. This girl isn't even pregnant! When I announced the name, my sister and niece went ballistic. They didn't just bash me; they started spreading blatant lies and messaging my friends. It turned into this heartbreaking contest over who our mom loved more, and who loved her more. They know I'm high-risk with this pregnancy. My mom had her struggles and didn't raise me, but I reconnected with her and I loved her. This whole situation broke my heart, and I had to delete all their comments. Should I just use the name anyway? Like, what even is this?
