One of the perks working for Heathkit back in the day was free QSL cards.

@K0NR That's one of the reasons I like the January and September contests: there is more activity on 2 meters and above.

@k5nd Jim, great work writing up the results article. Lots of good data...reinforces my impression that the June contest is largely 6m FT8. For better or worse.

@K0NR It's humbling and baffling. Like the guy who recorded my call as K5NDEM01

The Perseids meteor shower has been very kind to me. Worked 5 new grids on 2 meters, bringing my total to 197.

@N4YHC I was too busy to look at FT4, fortunately. Then when it slacked up I knew no one would be on FT4. I need to use the SDR to monitor both at the same time.

@k5nd We (K4SWD and I) tried from EM78 and had lousy luck. I think we were hearing people off the broad side of their beam AND the band was changing faster than the FT8 cycle. Nobody was on FT4. Ended with 5 QSOs so you did better than us.

@K0NR I was in DM85 for the SSB weekend and too tired from the two previous days of handing out the grid. I look forward to seeing the results and comments.

@k5nd Jim, nice work. What do you think about splitting the contest into two weekends? I worked both and it seemed to work OK.
