I want the Michael sequel to leave people with their hearts broken. The world needs to feel bad about how he was treated. Only then may we heal.

All this Michael Jackson content is making me really sad. That man was the greatest artist to ever walk the earth and he ain’t got no business being gone.

It's crazy how many people don't know Michael Jackson was acquitted at trial due to lack of evidence and inconsistencies from the accusers

When Michael Jackson was at the height of his fame, he would quietly visit children’s hospitals... sometimes late at night, without media. He’d sit with kids who were terminally ill, talk to them, hold their hands, and try to make them laugh. Many families later said he didn’t act like a superstar at all... just someone who didn’t want those kids to feel alone.

Based off of this clip alone, it’s very telling how bad the abuse was. The dead expression on Michael‘s face while reminiscing about his childhood. He even tried crying but couldn’t shed a tear because of how numb his brain had become processing all that trauma
Daij@JumpsForJoyy

Joe’s abuse went deeper than just whoppings. Like he literally tried to hurt Michael on numerous occasions. He almost broke Michael’s arm at one point by shoving into a drum set. He knocked Michael so hard that he couldn’t breathe

People don’t understand how famous Michael Jackson was. Nobody else came close. He was known in every 3rd world country as well as the west. He couldn’t PA at nightclubs or restaurants like other celebs. No sitting court side at NBA games or ring side at boxing events. Why? Because fans would just cause chaos and shut the place down. People don’t understand that level of fame. The whole world tuned in to watch the thriller premier, before social media and YouTube etc. He could sing, dance, choreograph, hardly did interviews, aura was another level, world leaders would ask to meet him. Roads shut down when he was staying at hotels etc. Nobody before or since can compare, stop these lame comparisons. People used to faint when they saw him in person. It was insane and unheard of. There will only be one Michael Jackson and never again will we witness such talent and aura. Never.

very important context… michael never knew a normal life. he had no friends, was socially inept, emotionally stunted, sheltered, famous and overworked at 9, raised in a religious cult & by an abusive father, was thrust into unprecedented fame and lost his privacy forever at just 25. he grew up in a completely different reality which naturally led to an unusual personality and a different perception of normalcy. people leave this context out when judging him or dehumanizing him for being different.
