Desmond, husband of 53 years, died in his sleep on Sunday. I have a very long journey ahead of me but his perfect death is a great comfort. I expect I'll be moaning about him again soon, but now, RIP, Desmond. I love you.

1 Well, just coming home through Conwy and walked right into a car door thrown open across the narrow pavement. It was pulled closed, no apology and I'd just got myself together when an aggressive male voice demanded:'Were you shaking your head at me?'

Today's dilemma is, if you're going for navy blue and the two items are so unlike each other they're only vaguely similar, is it better to go navy and black? I'm going to see my trainer for the first time today.

@KatieFforde If I can, I use my humane spider catching thing and put them out - I used to put them inthe garage, but I'm a bit past that now at night, when they mostly seem to appear - but I panicked finding myself shut up inthe shower with one!

I thought Autumn was on its way, but it's not here yet. Having to rethink warmer clothes choice.

@trishaashley I don't judge. I just can't bear to see them move. My MIL told me they just die if you put them outside anyway. We have to manage as best we can. xx
