In Dhirikula village of Mayurbhanj, Odisha, a stray dog named Kali gave her life to save more than 30 school children. A poisonous snake was crawling toward children sitting outside their school. Kali sensed the danger and attacked the snake immediately. She killed it — but the snake bit her during the fight. She died soon after. Villagers performed her last rites and called her the protector of their children. There's this neighbor of mine. Guy is so calm and doesn't talk much. You wouldn't even know he's around. I don't know where he met the kind of wife in his house. She is so rude,loud and wayward. She would leave this man in the house and go hang out with other guys. There was even a time she traveled with another guy for a party. This man would be the one to cook and take care of the only daughter they have. People in and around our compound believed it couldn't be ordinary,for a man to condone all these. On a fateful night,she was out as usual. Before she came back,this man had packed her belongings outside their flat. When she got back around 12 am,she couldn't believe her eyes. She knocked,begged and even had to call neighbors to beg on her behalf but this man said No way. That's how the marriage ended. Lesson here is to never take a good or calm man for granted as this original post says. Take heed now or regret later. ✌️
