Villa just finished a 56 game season winning a Europa league title and finishing 4th in the PL . In contrast Man U played 40 games won nothing and finished 6 point ahead in 3rd. Michael Carrick managed 18 of those PL games and is nominated for manager of the season and Unai not.

@henryswainjourn @afcbindc Abuse might be a tad strong but I'm sure you understood. 'Using their association with the selling Club to their benefit' could be more accurate. But again I ask, what were the exact offers, what did the player want to do etc. If not known, then this is just guesswork.

@keithcb49 @afcbindc i’ve not said they’ve abused their position have I Keith. But realistically, you were in a position of advantage being their sister club. Nothing wrong with it but the whole idea that it’s some miraculous piece of scouting is ridiculous

Whilst you’re spot on with almost all of it, I simply cannot get behind praising a side for signing an obviously excellent player from a sister club for a fraction of the price he should’ve been sold for 😂

I don't know the details, but I'm sure you do. If #afcb have abused their position they should be called out.

#afcb I'm happy. 6th position and Europa League is a quite amazing achievement. Most points and highest ever position. Unbeaten for 18 games. What. A. Team. Never rely on a Big 6 side though. Selfish lot. We're 'top 6', not 'big 6' but #6th. I'm still happy. Come on Boscombe!
